@djfarsight is back on Scuffed Recordings with three new transatlantic bass heaters on his El Mago EP.

Since his earliest releases, Farsight has become a go-to name for high-impact club tracks that defy categorisation. With appearances on labels like Femme Culture, Tropopause, and [Re]sources, the San Francisco-based artist has continuously evolved and embellished his sound across the course of his career, tapping into myriad global styles on each of his tracks.

El Mago is Farsight’s third EP with UK label Scuffed, continuing a relationship that began with 2019’s Oaktown EP and followed up with his Renegade EP in 2021. Most recently, Farsight appeared with his Breaka collab ‘Flow State’.

As ever picking from a wide palette of influences from across the club music spectrum, Farsight runs the gamut across the EP - variously taking cues from UK funky, drill, dubstep, techno, D&B and footwork over the release’s three tracks, all of which were showcased in Farsight's hyped Boiler Room set in June 2023.

London’s GLYSK mixes boldly nostalgic 1980s sounds with lyrics critiquing society through the lens of personal dynamics. Her debut EP Social Intercourse was co-produced by Wrong Music co-founder Brain Rays, who here with collaborator Quiet offers up a Day-Glo remix for the dancefloor. All three are part of queer collective/party crew DOOMSCROLL.

BIG DOPE P is a London-based, Paris-born artist known for his unique production style blending Ghetto House, Electro Funk, Footwork, and Rap, emerging as one of Europe’s premier DJs and producers in his field. Touring worldwide and working with some of the biggest names in both dance music and rap, including Basement Jaxx, Kaytranada, Duck Sauce, Rustie, Pusha T, Maya Jane Coles, Todd Edwards, Thys from Noisia, and more... His signature sound blends footwork, house, hip-hop, and electro, creating dynamic and memorable tracks that punch hard and linger long in the memory.

He co-founded the iconic MOVELTRAXX imprint when he was 16, which releases the best Juke/Footwork, Ghetto House, and Jersey Club music since 2007 with records from DJ Earl, Paul Johnson, Traxman, Dj Tameil, or DJ Rashad, to name a few. Dope P was also released on other prestigious labels like Local Action, Fool's Gold, Ed Banger, LuckyMe, Nervous, Ninja Tune, and OWSLA.

After a string of successful EPs and singles, P released his debut album in late 2021. Mehlish featured collaborations with a wide range of singularly talented artists, including TT The Artist, DJ Slugo, Karlito (from legendary French rap band Mafia K'1 Fry), Mighty Mark, DJ Jayhood, Feadz, and more.

Dope P is currently releasing a new series of singles ("Stomp Yo Ass" feat. Katie Got Bandz, "Ride With Me" and "Can't Control Myself," feat. Reija Lee), leading to his sophomore album being released early in 2024.

Basilica Blueprints Vol.2 carries on from our debut release compilation to bring a barrage of club functional and experimental pieces all wrapped under the banner of the Basilica ethos - trying to expand on the nuance and experimentation side of functional dance music fit for the club. 

Balancing with drum heavy, rolling pieces combined with choppy and staggering beats, all designed to crush through a dancefloor, BBV2 has already cemented itself on the festivals and dancefloors of 2023, playing through Dekmantel, Blitz Club and many other iconic names, and the list is sure to grow.

Terminal 8

Terminal 8 is a forward looking dj collective, record label, and party series. Since it’s inception in 2019, T8 has been instrumental in accelerating the underground dance community in Nashville. Made up of six members with varying specialties, T8 delivers an amorphous but highly effective music experience.


Ross Lowder

Ross Lowder, the Texas-born DJ and designer, moved to Nashville in 2018 in hopes of furthering his place in the electronic music scene. Since his first booking in 2015, Ross’ sound has evolved into a heavier blend of percussive techno and breaks with an experimental touch.

Edders 

A Nashville native, Edders is a skilled  producer and DJ with a taste for high bpms and anthemic vocal tracks. In addition to a string of self released projects in 2021, Edders also put out a cassette tape in collaboration with Mankind studios, a Risograph printing and graphics company based in NYC. 

Viiaan

A CDMX transplant living in Nashville, Viiaan is a seasoned producer, DJ, and founder of her own label, Voragine.With releases on Extasis Records, Infinite Machine, and Causal Chain, her tracks span ambient to techno. Her versatility is also showcased in DJ sets, opening for DJ Stingray, Aurora Halal and doing mixes on NTS X NAAFI, and TheLot Radio.


Jason Code

Hailing from Seattle, Jason became a fixture in the Tennessee dance community over the past ten years- booking acts like Nikki Nair, ELISE, Kush Jones, and DJ Swisha among others. Now moved back home, Jason is forming also an up-and-coming producer and DJ, with releases on Future-Everything and UK imprint Scuffed.


Nicholas Latiff

With roots in Brazil and Columbia, Nashville based producer Nicholas Latiff is finding his voice in the world of electronic music. Sporting releases on Diserpiero Records, Bunkaball, and Dont Play, Nicholas’s name will usually be found on Beatports Minimal / Deep Tech Top 100. He has also opened for Lucati, Westend, and Justin Jay.  


Manila

Born and raised in the Nashville DIY scene, Manila is a talented producer and DJ with a unique knowledge of club music. Mixing boomin 808s, vocal chops, and breaks with textured pads, his productions capture an emotional and futuristic energy. He has also done a mix for Balamii and opened for UNIIQU3 and DJ R3ll.
