Montel is relatively new to the world of electronic music but in a short amount of time he has quickly risen to the top of the game. Since getting his start in 2012 he has released records on renowned labels such as Bedrock, Leftroom, Knee Deep In Sound, and Material just to name a few. 

Now making his Mobilee debut on Leena Music with his “Within” EP he presents two solid tracks that showcase his signature sound of pure unadulterated house music. Focusing on heavy grooves and classic rhythmic soundscapes these tracks have one goal in mind to send the listener straight to the dance floor with a sense of raw energy and intoxicating motivation. Welcome to our first artists from Tokyo: Drunken Kong. With their great releases on Christian Smith's label Tronic, D. Singh and DJ Kyoko had a regular place on Monika Kruse's stick and she was even happier when she received this demo EP from the duo. The big hype about this release began when Monika dropped the title track 'Chanted' in her boiler room set last summer and it became bigger and bigger since then.

Trent Cantrelle is back for his third EP on Yoshitoshi, and he’s firing on all cylinders for this one. The three tracks that make up Transmit That Style are bold and hard-hitting, showcasing Trent’s proclivity for crazy sound design and highly layered arrangements.

The lead track, “Transmit That Style,” first made its appearance on our Yoshitoshi Ibiza compilation mixed by Sharam, as an album-only exclusive. Now it's finally available for single download, with a fresh mix and master.

“What I Need,” with its heavy, funky bass line and myriad sound effects and percussion, is classic Trent. It’s a track you would imagine being dropped on a classic Danny Tenagalia night, twisted at heart, with many elements of throwback deep house that ke ep it groovy and interesting. Meanwhile, “Your Body” is the EP’s tribute to techno with its driving groove, pummeling bass, and distinctly analog flare.

All in all, this is a deep and diverse EP from Trent and another happy addition from the LA-based producer to the Yoshitoshi catalogue. Enjoy!
