Set Report AMFM 373

When I finally arrived on Tuesday the 26th of April in Groningen to play at Paradigm's King's Day event in the Netherlands, I had started my travel the previous day in the desert of Coachella. Sometimes you have to endure a long trip in order to play an awesome party on the other side of the planet. Paradigm is run by a super friendly family-like crew with a lot of love and compassion and exactly those factors matter a whole lot when it comes to techno parties… or techno in general really. What an extraordinary vibe that was, that can be easily compared to a night at Berghain in Berlin or similar places where the music and the location are the main ingredients for a great time. Thanks to that awesome crowd that gave me so many new ideas to mix tracks together and try out some new things. Dank u well everyone who came out and I can't wait to be back! Even after this long weekend in Las Vegas/Coachella/LA and trip back to Europe, I didn't wanna stop playing.. so the set is a little longer than 3h… hope you enjoy!

Alexander Lind AKA Sonic is the Swedish story of a stray dog that has found himself in a life dedicated to music. He is co-founder of Gothenburg label/organizer/collective @streckgbg as well as No Regrets and Esta Noche, running memorable raves and booking well thought out line-ups, helping to keep the Gothenburg underground scene alive.

Alexanders fast-pace techno sets are known to be playful and eclectic whilst leaning on a steady ground of dirty kicks, heavy bass-lines with a touch of his love for trance and euphoric melodies. As a producer he has recently made his first vinyl release on his own imprint Streck.

Real Name : Yassine Ben Achour
Profile :
Rewind back to the start of the last decade when a teenage Loco Dice was a rapper and a Hip Hop Dj, playing support slots to Usher, Ice Cube, Jamiroquai, Snoop Dog and R. Kelly. The Tunisian Born Loco Dice soon became a very well known figure in his native German Hip Hop scene and as the scene exploded (becoming Germany's biggest musical genre, as it did right across the world) he did what any self respecting underground artist would: He switched to house music. But not any old house music: very sexy and very crowd pleasing House Music. Loco Dice is now signed to 420 Recordings in the UK, Superstar Records in Germany.
His tribal, sweetly funky, bassline driven, dance floor friendly skills have given him a residency at last year's coolest club DC-10 and Germany's favorite venue, Dusseldorf's Tribehouse. He regularly tours America, both North and South, having played all the Spundae’s, all the Crobars, Creamfields and Pacha.His first release on 420 "Phat Dope Shit" has gone stellar, his remixes of Timo Maas's "Help Me" had a worldwide release.
2003 saw Dice release two new tracks released on Four:Twenty 'City lights' and 'Dynamite Love' and also had remixes of both Phat dope shit (Saeed) and City lights (Martin Buttrich) released all of which received fervent support from the underground dance press and radio.
2004 see's Dice with dates at Crobar (New York) and residencies at Tribehaus (Germany), Fever Versilia (Italy)& DC10 Circo Loco (Ibiza), and once again he will be continuing his constant touring of Europe.
Dice has recently been in the studio and has recorded some of his best work to date, one of the tracks 'Cellar Door' can be first sampled at the 2004 Miami Winter Music Conference a soon to be released one sided white label on Four:Twenty and man you gotta check this shit out!
