It’s time, once again, to get into the MOOD. Our driver for the label’s latest shady soiree is the boss herself: Nicole Moudaber.

Currently cruising on the trip of her life (literally – she’s just passed her race driver test), Nicole is wrapping up 2015 at unfathomable speeds right now. Fresh from her legendary ‘Breed’ collaborations with Skin and remixing Pan Pot, Scuba and recently Black Asteroid all within the last three months, Nicole unleashes her first solo triple-tracker in a long time…

‘Silent Sigh’ commences the adventure with an unhurried build as each bar sees a new space age texture wrapping around her stoic kicks. Gradually the elements disappear until all you can see, feel and hear is black. Stark designs twist through the ether from left to right then boom: an even darker, sub-laden kick pressure ignites from nowhere. Trust us, this will do more than make your dancefloor sigh…

We proceed with intimacy as Nicole persuades us to ‘Move A Little Closer’. The beats underpin her whispers and do well to magnetise, but it’s the gradual ice blast pads that really allure. Building and building with ageless progression, the big pay-off comes with one of the most delicious, almost cosmic, breakdowns Nicole has ever crafted.

MOOD now fully established, ‘Own’ has the honour of closing the show. Relentless kicks and a scratchy snare paint the backdrop for bold splashes of colour as eastern vocals ghost through the spectrum weaving mystically around Nicole’s signature insistent percussive dynamics, escalating into shamanic oblivion.

usually known for his melodic tech/house style,
he decides to take things a little more obscure this time and delivers to the label “Nightrain”.
A dark beat, a gloomy bassline and a hollowing chord stab that takes the track to the deepest forms of techno.
on remix duties he chose the talented and well know Japanese “Dj Sodeyama” (Trip/Arpa)
using an hypnotic synth line on a heavy beat, he gives the track a real genuine techno feel.
Bastinov remix is a more “melodic” one in the EP. wiith an harominc pad that goes all along the track that sits so well with the rest of the vibes, assured to rock any dancefloor.
and last but not least, Coeter.
who decides to take things a bit more rough and pushes out the most with his experimental yet strong techno sounds.

Toms Due is talented duo from Etruria Beat crew , they re now back once again on their home label with two bangers ‘ Urania ‘ and ‘ Caliope ‘ and two remixes . One from Nina Kraviz´s Trip label young protégé Nikita Zabelin , the second from Micol Danieli , italian newcomer artist and owner of 030´s vinyl record label. On the A side sit the two original tracks . Urania is composed of a powerful techno groove on a simple but strong chord fitting perfectly on the climax of the middle of the track . Second comes ‘ Calliope ‘ , a Toms Due signature heavy rhythm with a happy techno synth melody , a must try for all dancefloors . On B side , Nikita Zabellin shows once again his minimal approach , pure analogue sounds with a bit of darkness. Micol Danieli´s chose to use a never ending rhythm that won´t ever leave you alone , a very elaborate arrangement . Keep an eye on this Italian lady producer !

Following an old familiar Criminal Hype trend we invited Glen Coombs back into the fold after his remix for Atove. Glen has been an artists we have been keeping a keen eye on for a while now so it's great to finally have him put out some original martial with us! 

This EP is exactly what it says on the tin, no nonsense, through and through warehouse vibes! Big heavy chugging beats, groovin bass and infectious vocal hooks! These original cuts really hit the nail on the head!

We are very excited about the remixers on this package, and even more so about what they have created! 

Since delving into a solo journey away from Him_Self_Her, LE:ON has been paving a more house infused groovier route for himself. He's stripped back 'We Got Soul' and slapped it with real punching drums only fit for peak time! A real firm cut!

Also making a debut on the label are Vibe Killers! These guys have been (excuse the pun) killing it over the past few months and it doesn't stop here! To make a track already entitles 'Warehouse Jam' even more warehouse ready takes some doing! Hats off to these guys!

After nearly a year since their sophomore album 'The Other', Pan-Pot return home to Second State with a stunning EP showcasing the duos proficiency for composing dynamic, cutting-edge Techno.
Over the span of three tracks, 'Solace' EP navigates through a trifecta of distinct styles that unquestionably bear the mark of Pan-Pot's masterstroke. Kicking it off at a breakneck pace is the title track 'Solace' with rapid fire low end and intense tones laying the bedrock for a wildly uplifting presentation of keys creating the ideal balance between opposing forces.
Up next is 'Consequence' which see the duo team up with Martin Eyerer for a newly styled trip down memory lane. By pairing key elements of the sounds of early Pan-Pot and contemporary production, the trio have succeeded in conceiving a fever inducing, big room hit.
Rounding out the EP is 'Lose Yourself' and it is by far the most grandiose of the trilogy. Lush pads and soaring sonic stairs build toward a zenith as the ceaseless chant of "lose yourself" escorts the traveller through an elated dream.
To top it all off, Pan-Pot personally enlisted the expertise of IMF's label boss, the mighty Marcel Fengler. With an astute awareness, Fengler weaves the original artifacts of ‘Lose Yourself' into a truly unique orchestration of rugged percussion and euphoric abstraction.
Although it's been a year since we last saw Pan-Pot on Second State, once you experience 'Solace', we think you'll agree, it's good to have the bosses back home.
