This is music for uncertain times—where irony meets feeling, nostalgia collides with speed, and the African side of things reminds us that rhythm has always been a force of survival and liberation. Polyrhythms spiral like broken timelines, edits twist the past into something unrecognizable, and bass shakes the ground beneath us.

DJ Babatr - Without Control (Love) TRDrop023

The Altar release was produced and inspired by and for Paloma Contreras Lomas' multimedia installation “Rana Disco Club” and the short film "Virgilio" at the Anahuacalli Museum in Mexico City. Caníbal and Fantasma are two singles that invoke the tribal prehispánico genre of the early 2010s. Zutzut's music in this release invokes specters that ruminate different mausoleums, under the volcanic stone of Mexico City.  Zutzut and Contreras Lomas have been frequent collaborators since 2024.

The Anahuacalli Museum is a pre-Hispanic mausoleum located in the south of Mexico City. Zutzut was assisting during the production process of the exhibition “¿Cómo se escribe muerte al sur?” by Paloma Contreras Lomas, Mexican artist and Carolina Fusilier, Argentinian artist, which was inaugurated at the beginning of the year 2025 in the museum. The museum contains Diego Rivera's collection of pre-Hispanic objects and was intended as the place that would house his ashes, along with those of Frida Kahlo. That did not happen. The bodies are not buried there, but what does inhabit it is the rebellious spirit of ancestral entities that live at the collection. Zutzut was inspired by the museum architecture of volcanic stone from the Xitle volcano; its ghosts, inhabitants of the underworld and a darkness that appears in each of the tracks. He imagined how an ancestral tribal rave would sound, dancing between Contreras Lomas and Fusilier's pieces.

“Samasama” channels chopped acapellas, dubby breaks and syncopated percussion into a rolling groove that feels loose yet relentless. A raw, swung club cut with sideways energy.

“Umbra” sinks into deeper terrain, reimagining Raptor House through shadowy filters and percussive hypnosis. Dense textures, slow pressure, and a heavy low-end make it a tool for building intensity mid-set.

Después de 3 años de agite en la pista y en la comunidad LGTBQ, el colectivo que encendió noches, pistas y unió corazones en Buenos Aires, evoluciona hacia una nueva dimensión sonora con su primer compilado CLUB TOOL NMK . Esta metamorfosis se celebra con el lanzamiento de su primer compilado, una obra expansiva que reúne a más de 24 artistas de diferentes latitudes, géneros y lenguajes sonoros.

Más que una colección de tracks, este compilado es un manifiesto: un llamado a la disidencia, al placer, a la vulnerabilidad radical y a la utopía queer a través del sonido. Desde el techno bastardo hasta la experimentación vocal, pasando por el reggaetón mutante , latin club , electrónica política y  paisajes de club deconstruidos, el proyecto propone una escucha sin fronteras y profundamente identitaria.

“Neomarik siempre fue más que una fiesta. Fue un espacio de encuentro para cuerpos queer que necesitaban liberarse. Este compilado es una extensión de esa energía, pero en formato archivo, música, memoria colectiva.”

El compilado estará disponible en plataformas como Bandcamp, Spotify, etc. a partir de junio, acompañado del artwork creado por NOISEDISTRUCT
