Nils Danielsson, aka. Hardcell, came in contact with electronic music in the early 90's and within short time he discovered techno and the underground rave scene.

After getting his hands on a couple of 1200's, Hardcell was soon to be a frequent act at underground parties in Stockholm and around the rest of Sweden. The main theme in his work, as well in the studio as by the decks, has been and still is, the search for that indescribable feeling that is "techno" - beside his house works under his real name.

Having put out most of his work within Diode Music and mainly on the Skunkworks project, Hardcell found his permanent home at Adam Beyer's Drumcode, also doing severeal releases together with Par Grindvik - mostly known about their "Gainlane" series and live acts. Also, he has numerous co-producions with Johan Bacto, which has led to the Devil's Choice project.

He decided to retire from producing after his last EP "Only" in 2008

After the crazy success of his track ‘CRUSIN’ which was released on our platform having support from TRYM, Franck, Mark Blair, NENE H and KEYO we’ve invited @shftr.uk back for a chance to showcase his indisputable talent as a DJ…

@shftr.uk Started his journey at the age of 18 when he was new to clubbing. Liverpool has a big techno scene and SHFTR happened to find himself in the depths of it. Listening to techno live lead him to feel emotions he has never felt before and thus began - the love for it. Before he even owned a pair of decks he would use only a DJ software to play music to his friends at pre-drinks and afters.

He quickly realised that this new found hobby was more than just a phase. He got himself a DAW and learned the ways of producing vocal heavy, euphoric techno. As he has aged and his skills have improved, he has started to find his sound resulting in a love for faster beats.

Most recently fast rhythms with bouncy bass lines has found their way into his production. 

His tracks have had support from the likes of Charlie Sparks and Mark Blair. He has provided ankle-breaking-beats in popular clubs of Liverpool, such as the WAV. There is a lot more he has to offer for the techno scene, so brace yourselves for SHFTR.
