What I do to keep CPU usage down to a minimum is use one rack instance of Kontakt and configure extra outputs within. Now you can load multiple instruments in this instance of Kontakt (up to 64 if needed) and have them routed to separate assignable outputs in Cubase. Are you not saying two different things in the two answers? In the first it seems that you have a lower CPU load if you use ONE kontakt instance and then put several instruments into that ONE instance, but in the second answer your are saying:
