Terra Firma likes things clean, precise and organic- it’s the ethos of the label and the stylistic grounding of its sound. But, every now and then, something rough and ready comes along which just throws that out of the water, something altogether more heinous.

Courtesy of Manikin, Decapitate and Bumpy aren’t bothered about frills or niceties. Instead, they’re pure, urban-edged steppers which move in a way that’s deeply satisfying and instantly familiar to those passionate about tough, driving Drum & Bass. Decapitate touches on the pulse of D&B’s newly invigorated love for big-boned rollers, with a distorted back end and an eerie sense of progression. Bumpy strips things back down into minimal territory in a growling, ominous collection of broken beats and stripped back force.

Hard-nosed, moody and a bit hungover, Manikin’s new single is one for the heads.

DJ / Producer One Mindz, is part of the new generation of the Drum & Bass scene.
With presentations at parties of various styles and their productions being played by different DJs around the world, One Mindz has been conquering more and more space.

Carlos Oliveira Silva, known as Carlinhos Groove aka One Mindz, had his first contact with underground music in mid-1994, influenced by his older brother who was a DJ, and thus began his career in the world of electronic music.

In 2002 his first mixes appeared, and in that same period he had the privilege of knowing the broken rhythms of Drum & Bass, where he ended up finding his space, and ended up adopting DJ Zinc & Twisted Individual as reference DJs.

The beginning of his professional career began in 2006, when he won his first vinyl record, received directly from DJ Zinc after a stint in Brazil.

As a music producer, One Mindz signed his first work in 2017 with the Soulbass Recordings label and nowadays the DJ remains intense in production, and has already signed with the True Box Records, DNBB Records, UTM Records, M Ocean Records, Low Syndicate Audio, Dutty Audio, Holographic Audio and RAM Records.


With the intention of further highlighting his work, on December 2, 2021, the date on which One Mindz completed 4 years since he released his first track, the producer announces his own independent label, One Mindz Music.
