Can't believe it's been over a year since the pandemic started AND since I've played a set!! Here's a 3 hour set I played at a friends Guest Farm called Linquenda, this past weekend in Stellenbosch, South Africa. At the age of 6 Josh Eritas started his formal music education on a trumpet just to continue on the piano the following years. He kept investing more and more time and passion in music and was so able to gain a wide range of experience. From solo concerts and performances in small jazz clubs up to music contests he took up every opportunity resulting in his first prize at the music competition ""Jugend Musiziert"". When he took his first steps into the world of Psytrance, he was immediately captured by the broad variety in the music and the underlying scene and began producing. Within a few months, he immersed himself completely into sound design and working with synthesizers. Together with his roommate formed ""Root Sector Records"", a small Psytrance Label in Germany and released his first EP at Purple Hexagon Records and the second as Lakitu (in collaboration with Act One) on Sangoma.

Jungle Calling Vol. 4 is a double side compilation that was recorded and collected during the core of the pandemic years. The imposed break from all external contact, inspired us to dive deeper within ourselves, this time exploring more the forest side and the twilight also, counting with known experienced artists like Arjuna, Samadhi, Nektarios, and others, but also with great emergent ones like Aram and DarkSpice, both part of Believe Lab team, to give voice to good new artists that haven’t been discovered by the audience yet!

- BIO -

Louis grew up heavily influenced by various alternative rock and metal bands, classical pieces, motion picture soundtracks, indie & psychedelic rock, and dark ambient soundscapes until the discovery of psychedelic trance music at the age of 19. A few years later, in 2016, he decided to start his production journey. The influences of the project include darker artists performing in the local scene and all over the world, focused on but not limited to higher speeds than 148bpm.

Since then, amid connections with local and international producers, he has accumulated techniques and understanding, creating his own style with influences from subgenres such as Nighttime Full-On, Twilight, Forest, and Darkpsy, exploring cosmic soundscapes through which the listeners can have a unique, fun, and playful experience.

The sound of TerraHertz is constantly growing and evolving, expressing creativity through various tempos, exploring realms of the uncharted.
