I Caboose sono un progetto fondato da Luis De Cicco (chitarra e cantante) a Berlino nel 2018 e presentato in Italia nello stesso anno con Carlo Corso alla batteria. Grazie ad una fluente attività live il gruppo, partito da sonorità decisamente rock-blues ha integrato spoken word, desert-rock, avvicinandosi a sonorità più scarne ed elettriche che ammiccano all'ultimo Lou Reed e al Nick Cave degli anni berlinesi. Nonostante ciò hanno partecipato non solo a festival blues ma anche jazz, aprendo per artisti come Watermelon Slim, Eric Bibb, Robert Kimbrough, Danilo Rea. Nel 2019, in collaborazione con Mojo Station - il Blues e le sue Culture, sono semifinalisti all'IBC di Memphis, la vetrina americana dedicata ai nuovi talenti blues. Il loro tour ha poi fatto tappa a New Orleans, Berlino, Francoforte, Milano. Il loro nuovo CD "Hinterland Blues" è stato accolto positivamente soprattutto all'estero sia per l'intensità del live che per il sound scarno e spettrale. Infatti, che sia un club per pochi intimi o un grande palco, Luis e Carlo hanno la capacità di calamitare su di sè l'attenzione del pubblico, merito di una forte intesa costruita su ascolto e imprevedibilità che gli permette di dialogare in maniera simbiotica senza mai prendersi troppo sul serio. Un gioco che si potrebbe definire come  " i Doors che incontrano Nick Cave nello stesso deserto dei Tinariwen, con la chitarra di Fred McDowell e la pistola di William Burroughs ". Il loro immaginario attinge a un paesaggio utopico e indefinibile sospeso tra Occidente e Oriente: ora metallico, urbano; ora meditativo e rarefatto.
