As many of you guessed, THERIOMORPH is the ghost of what once was Cornigr, a project by many considered as one of this labels definitive highlights. 
As Cornigr was laid to rest, P.E.Packain (aka Vainaya) wanted to explore wider musical grounds when the highly recommended Adaestuo project suddenly arose. A platform for exploring suddenly emerged, much of the planned Theriomorph material was used, and the urge to make something new on his own grew once again. 
Theriomorph is a project largely based off ideas dating back to before Funereal Harvest, and the album is an absolute accomplishment, an amazing feat from start to finish, a unique Black Metal album which never leaves the roots of the genre.

ASKEREGN RETURNS! 

Continuing where their 2015 debut album ‘Monumenter’ left off, ‘Brennende åkres grøde’ has been harvested from the trembling blood soaked earth and carved out from the rotting veil that so far separates our world from the infinite empty blackness. 

With over 40 minutes of ferocious, ugly and tormented Black Metal, Askeregn remains true to their unpleasant approach to the genre, yet still able to develop their sound further in their own chaotic and hallucinatory ways. It is obvious: this can only be Askeregn. 

‘Brennende åkres grøde’ manages to sum up the atmospheres from all of the band’s previous releases at the same time as it keeps its blood shot eyes on the blazing horizon. 
This is contemporary music for a burning world, made for feasting rats and maggots - exactly what you need and deserve! 

The album is mixed by Bjarte Lund Rolland of Kvelertak and released exclusively on Terratur Possessions, winter 2022.

TERRATUR POSSESSIONS is proud to announce the monstrous debut full-length album of Icelandic Black Metal band SINMARA, to be released xx.xx.xx on CD and DLP.
The album was recorded, mixed and mastered over a period of 2 years by Stephen Lockhart at Studio Emissary, resulting in a world class production, and features stunning artwork and layout from Alexander L. Brown.

SINMARA was previously known under the name of Chao, having released under that name the demo cassette Spiritus Sankti also on TERRATUR POSSESSIONS. The change in name sees the band develop upon their foundations of chaotic agression contrasted with haunting melodies, bringing forth a newfound maturity and focus of composition, masterful musicianship and a zealous intensity of execution. Along with the change in name there has also been a change in line-up, and the band now features members of Wormlust, Rebirth of Nefast and Svartidauði.

Aphotic Womb takes the listener on a descent into a writhing underworld of diverse soundscapes and themes, from the harmonic chaos and orchestrated madness of “Verminous”, to the mournful elegy of the title track, and culminating in the eschatological epic “Mountains of Quivering Bones”.

-DEUS MORTEM arose from the Abyss in the winter of 2008. Since then they have been consistently following their wolfish path, trampling down the carcass of limitations and divine order, which can be clearly heard on this new opus. Here they direct their force of creation towards the best era of metal magnificence, regardless of the changes that time brings. Drawing from the source of their inspiration from the 80s and 90s, they've built an original style, which is a rare treat these days. It is the uniqueness and perfection of opposites intertwined in a deadly formula. It's an iron fist aimed at mediocrity and illusion, masterfully performed through skill and passion.

On 'Kosmocide', the band stretches their musical influences even further than before, drawing inspirations from classic Black Metal acts, whilst still being able to maintain the 'Deus Mortem-sound' we've come to know over the years. Its epic, its aggressive, lightning fast as well as dynamic and structured, the album displays worldclass musicianship, crowned with masterful production by M./Mgla and stunning artworks by Artem Grigoryev and Ihasan Art. ‘Kosmocide’ is an esoteric journey, through tragedies, death and destruction of universal laws - straight to the womb of the raging Chaos.

The theme of the album is an interdimentional view of the underworld and its deities, emphasising strongly on the spiritual evolution to liberate the imprisoned powers, and make one with the outer Darkness. A sonic interpretation of what once was and our constant path of Devolution towards the Luciferian dawn.

While we await the anticipated sophomore album from Trondheims MISOTHEIST, their vocalist recorded an album on his own, writing, performing and producing all the music himself(with some very special guest appearances included). Four tracks spanning 40 minutes of cleverly arranged Black Metal ranging from mid-tempo fury and raging aggression, to more epic, grandiloquent parts, all blended in an impressive way.

The Song ‘Ride the Final Tide’ shows a more aggressive side to the band and did not fit the album they are currently working on. Consider this a treat/threat while you wait for the upcoming fullenght. The 7"EP also includes a cover of Manes -‘Maanens Natt’, a band that always meant a lot for the local scene here, and who’s been close conspirators for over three decades.

As the name suggests, this is as sinister and ominous Black Metal can get, calculated and intricate yet raw and unpleasant at the same time. An underrated and overlooked album released back in 2014 by Funeral Industries. Highly recommended to fans of Negative Plane, Mortuary Drape and old era Rotting Christ.

"JUDGEMENT is the second album from this sadly underrated band, whos debut has been on regular rotation in this household since its inception back in 2014. Although the Negative Plane vibe surely is present, for obvious reasons, the band offers something even more ghastly, reminiscent of early Mortuary Drape and the classic early Rotting Christ-era, to mention some influences. I for one was not sure how they could top the debut, but it’s safe to say they have outdone themselves on this one. Definitively an album of the year for me, and I’m elated to be able to present not only their sophomore album, but a repress of the debut ‘Omniscient’ will be available at the same time, August 28th, 2020. What more fitting timing than the beginning of a new plague era."
