As many of you guessed, THERIOMORPH is the ghost of what once was Cornigr, a project by many considered as one of this labels definitive highlights. 
As Cornigr was laid to rest, P.E.Packain (aka Vainaya) wanted to explore wider musical grounds when the highly recommended Adaestuo project suddenly arose. A platform for exploring suddenly emerged, much of the planned Theriomorph material was used, and the urge to make something new on his own grew once again. 
Theriomorph is a project largely based off ideas dating back to before Funereal Harvest, and the album is an absolute accomplishment, an amazing feat from start to finish, a unique Black Metal album which never leaves the roots of the genre.

INVICTUS PRODUCTIONS, in conspiracy with DARK DESCENT, is proud to present a special split album between OMEGAVORTEX and PIOUS LEVUS.

Two relatively "newer" bands who unapologetically attack like the OLD gods, OMEGAVORTEX and PIOUS LEVUS here make a blood pact to utterly PUNISH the listener and all those who pretend to be into death metal and black metal. Trendy, safe sounds you will NOT find here; both bands deliver exclusive material that fully complement their respective debut albums of recent years.

Indeed, listening to the new OMEGAVORTEX material is like driving slowly past a terrible car-crash site strewn with bloody body parts: you keep watching, although you shouldn't. If their celebrated/feared Black Abomination Spawn full-length from 2020 upped the ante on true extremity, then the Germans' six new songs here just might be the unhealthiest and most psychopathic recording of the last few years. As ever, OMEGAVORTEX borderline between black metal and war metal while making most of it sound very slow and tame by comparison. However, here they devolve that literally insane swell of sound into something utterly unenjoyable and fuck-off stratifying: rawer-than-the-rawest-demo production and berzerker-mad playing that proudly declares their PARANORMAL DEATH METAL banner. Want riff-driven chaos circa 1987 (Necrovore, Incubus, Morbid Angel) but blitzkrieged into in an alternate timeline / parallel dimension? Here you go: only the strong survive.

Not to be outdone, PIOUS LEVUS follow up their Beast of the Foulest Depths full-length and Bolt of Satanic Might EP with equally chaotic 'n' coiling attack of archaic black/death. Like old soldiers, PIOUS LEVUS are scene vets that refuse to die, carrying the flame of the ancient metal underground. Think of a time when the most underground bands shared their music through cassette recordings, mailed from far-away places: this is the world PIOUS LEVUS live in. No trends, no agendas, no nothing but chaos and death; that they started down their path of blasphemy many years ago in the original Thornspawn of the '90s should underline their dark devotion. With their five new tracks here, PIOUS LEVUS bring back the BLACK DEATH of earliest Necrovore, Morbid Angel, Incubus, and Mayhem: crushing olden-days riffs and criminally evil atmosphere, and chaotic leads rather pretty guitar solos.

It goes without saying that OMEGAVORTEX and PIOUS LEVUS share a mutual respect, and joined together on this split as a strategic assault on hipsters and posers. Beware, for the true underground is making its presence known with violence and force!

Continuing where their 2015 debut album ‘Monumenter’ left off, ‘Brennende åkres grøde’ has been harvested from the trembling blood soaked earth and carved out from the rotting veil that so far separates our world from the infinite empty blackness. 

With over 40 minutes of ferocious, ugly and tormented Black Metal, Askeregn remains true to their unpleasant approach to the genre, yet still able to develop their sound further in their own chaotic and hallucinatory ways. It is obvious: this can only be Askeregn. 

‘Brennende åkres grøde’ manages to sum up the atmospheres from all of the band’s previous releases at the same time as it keeps its blood shot eyes on the blazing horizon. 
This is contemporary music for a burning world, made for feasting rats and maggots - exactly what you need and deserve!

Hot on the heels of their critically acclaimed Leviaxxis demo, released earlier this year by W.T.C. PRODUCTIONS, fast-rising German black metal cult DYSANGELIUM unleash their highly anticipated debut album, Thánatos Áskēsis . As prefaced by Leviaxxis, the sound of Thánatos Áskēsis  can rightfully be described as tyrannical: swift and strategic, roiling and rumbling, surging and striking, DYSANGELIUM exude a startling confidence and authority beyond their young years as a band. The nine songs here righteously uphold the banner of orthodox black metal, but the Teutonic quintet work in a dazzling array of dynamics and nuance, especially in the unique, authoritative throat of vocalist Sektarist 0: it's literally the mouth of HELL, and his bandmates follow suit with incendiary performances and muscular execution. Even the song titles - among them, "Gateways to Necromancy," "I Am the Witness, I Am the Servant," and "Words Like Flames" - back up these claims. Soon enough, DYSANGELIUM's Thánatos Áskēsis  will be spoken of as a momentous record in the pantheon of pure-and-proud black metal.

After proving themselves with two celebrated demo cassettes and a split LP, Predatory Light unveils their self-titled debut full-length, set to be released on CD by Invictus Productions on September 22nd and the vinyl co-released by Invictus and Psychic Violence. While logically expanding upon the already-distinct voice established on earlier releases and venturing down the same labyrinthine paths, Predatory Light also forges new ground for the band. While much of the songwriting finds the band pushing further into the melodic unknown, there is simultaneously a paradoxical willful regression that witnesses the players more clearly exhibiting the influence of classic Greek, Italian, and South American black metal. It is precisely this ability to balance tradition with a single-minded compositional freedom that makes the album so remarkable. 

Compared to Predatory Light's already-worthy catalog, the album is marked by an increased level of maturity and confidence. The production is spacious and open, allowing the individual instruments to be distinctly audible in all of their warped and maniacal glory. The vocals are also another notable point of evolution for the band: stripped of the shelter of excessive studio effects and performed with a previously unheard level of humanity and power, the result is decidedly less modern and effectively captures an aura of ancient evil only sought after on earlier releases. Additionally, Predatory Light sees the rhythm section taking on a more significant role than on previous output, with the drums and bass providing a more muscular and imaginative skeleton for the melodic flesh of the songs to hang on.  

With cover art that is suitably haunting and cryptic for the music contained therein, the entire release exhibits the utmost care and attention to complimentary detail. These details, coupled with assured and focused songwriting, powerful performances, and a genuinely palpable and unyielding atmosphere serve to make Predatory Light's debut not only a landmark in the band’s own development, but an instantly memorable and welcome outlier in the global landscape of contemporary black metal.

W.T.C. PRODUCTIONS is proud to present SHAARIMOTH's long-awaited second album, Temple of the Adversarial Fire. Ever aptly titled, Temple of the Adversarial Fire is a bold and brazen reinvention for this Norwegian trio, fully in line with the band's spiritual beliefs. More than the cliché "phoenix rising from the flames," SHAARIMOTH have stripped down their aesthetic to its barest essentials, and then rebuilt them into an incendiary, black-smoke-billowing monolith of blackened death metal majesty. Rarely in the nowadays metal underground will one hear a death metal record this pure and reverential in its intent whilst being so suffused with the blackest of blood. A glorious new epoch has arrived, and SHAARIMOTH are ushering it in with Temple of the Adversarial Fire.
 
Formed in 2004 but tracing its origins back to 1998, SHAARIMOTH emerged from the then-barren Norwegian death metal underground, and along with it, so did new incantations of darkness, death, and destruction. Both dark and ecstatic, furious and violent, defying genres, but at the same time paying tribute to its predecessors of the black arts, SHAARIMOTH's goals were firm from the very beginning.
 
Building upon its unique take of technical Morbid Angel-esque death metal with dark ambient interludes and occult lyrical content, SHAARIMOTH is not music; it is ritual. A sonic vehicle of occult propaganda, created to manifest dark currents by the means of music, the trio worked in earnest on their first public recording. That record, the debut album named Current 11, was released in 2005 via Carnal Records, and dealt primarily with Chao-Gnosticism as approached through the prism of ancient Sumerian tradition. The album immediately became an underground cult, and the status was undoubtedly reinforced through years of worship.
 
Following the album's release, SHAARIMOTH withdrew from the public eye for many years, only to break the silence now. Hereby, the band announce its inexorable return and rebirth with Temple of Adversarial Fire! The time of the Fire is drawing nearer, and new bonds have been forged in its flames. WORLD TERROR COMMITTEE is the label chosen by SHAARIMOTH to collaborate in the release of their monumental second album, making sure that its incantations will resonate loud and clear, far and near.
 
Indeed, Temple of Adversarial Fire is a monument: 11 songs in 47 minutes that feel far more vast and expansive than this concise running time suggests. Over that psychic/sonic terrain, the trio canvass a frightening, feral landscape that bridges the terrestrial and the Beyond. It is the blackest of death metal, rendered with the ceremony of a Roman Empire procession, cloaked in sulfur and reeking of brimstone.
