Carnal Ghoul, the new band from guitarist Daniel Jakobi (ex. Lay Down Rotten and Milking the Goatmachine) and drummer Stefan Hüskens aka Tormentor of Desaster ( Metalucifer, Decayed etc.) was formed with a mutual interest in Swedish old school style death metal. The music pays homage to the likes of Dismember, Grave Edge of Sanity and Entombed and contains a little influence from the old school from England, Benediction and Bolt Thrower.Their first EP,"The Grotesque Vault," will be released in early 2013 as MCD (Remission Records),7" (High Roller Records) and a limited Tape (The Coffin Filth Records).
It was recorded,mixed and mastered in February 2013 in the holy halls of Desert Inn Studios in Sinn-Edingen (GER) with the help of Thilo Krieger.

TERRATUR POSSESSIONS is proud to announce the monstrous debut full-length album of Icelandic Black Metal band SINMARA, to be released xx.xx.xx on CD and DLP.
The album was recorded, mixed and mastered over a period of 2 years by Stephen Lockhart at Studio Emissary, resulting in a world class production, and features stunning artwork and layout from Alexander L. Brown.

SINMARA was previously known under the name of Chao, having released under that name the demo cassette Spiritus Sankti also on TERRATUR POSSESSIONS. The change in name sees the band develop upon their foundations of chaotic agression contrasted with haunting melodies, bringing forth a newfound maturity and focus of composition, masterful musicianship and a zealous intensity of execution. Along with the change in name there has also been a change in line-up, and the band now features members of Wormlust, Rebirth of Nefast and Svartidauði.

Aphotic Womb takes the listener on a descent into a writhing underworld of diverse soundscapes and themes, from the harmonic chaos and orchestrated madness of “Verminous”, to the mournful elegy of the title track, and culminating in the eschatological epic “Mountains of Quivering Bones”.

PRODUCTIONS, fast-rising German black metal cult DYSANGELIUM unleash their highly anticipated debut album, Thánatos Áskēsis . As prefaced by Leviaxxis, the sound of Thánatos Áskēsis  can rightfully be described as tyrannical: swift and strategic, roiling and rumbling, surging and striking, DYSANGELIUM exude a startling confidence and authority beyond their young years as a band. The nine songs here righteously uphold the banner of orthodox black metal, but the Teutonic quintet work in a dazzling array of dynamics and nuance, especially in the unique, authoritative throat of vocalist Sektarist 0: it's literally the mouth of HELL, and his bandmates follow suit with incendiary performances and muscular execution. Even the song titles - among them, "Gateways to Necromancy," "I Am the Witness, I Am the Servant," and "Words Like Flames" - back up these claims. Barshasketh Biography

BARSHASKETH was formed in 2007 as a solo-project by Krigeist with the intention of creating pure black metal, intentionally free of genre cross-pollination: second-wave blasphemy re-imagined and reinterpreted through extensive use of layering and counterpoint. After two well-received demos via Wolfsvuur Records, the debut album Defying the Bonds of Cosmic Thralldom emerged in 2010. Following the release of the first full-length, Krigeist relocated to Scotland after travelling through southeast Asia. After settling there, he went about piecing together a live lineup, and a series of live performances followed, culminating with a show in support of Negative Plane. Out of this live lineup, GM (guitars and vocals) was made a permanent member and BH was recruited on drums. This trio recorded the second full-length, Sitra Achra, released in 2013 through Todestrieb Records. After recruiting bassist BB on bass, the lineup was complete, and BARSHASKETH recorded two split EPs in quick succession. The band went on to record a third full-length, Ophidian Henosis, at the infamous Necromorbus Studio in Stockholm. This most recent full-length undoubtedly presents the band’s finest work to date and showcases a new level of musical and lyrical maturity. Extolling an adversarial spirituality, these seven hymns of darkness evangelize the impure and the obscene.
