BIOGRAPHY

Music has always been an integral part of life for Terrence Powers. Learning how to play bass, guitar, and piano in his younger years, this training set up the foundation Terrence needed when he was finally introduced to underground dance music at the age of sixteen. Thoroughly immersing himself in the dance music scene soon led to Terrence’s debut show—spinning at Club Roxxy, a popular venue in Philadelphia during that time. After spending an additional three years honing his skills as a DJ, Terrence decided to expand his horizons yet again, stepping further into the music industry by beginning to produce various styles of dance music. 

2015 marked a hugely successful year for Terrence Powers. Not only did he produce two songs for SVET Studio’s film Dinner, Terrence also teamed up with Billboard Charting Music Producer Christiano Jordano to produce two additional original tracks. Toward the end of 2015, Illadef—an established group of up and rising DJ’s and Producers from Philadelphia— asked Terrence to accompany them to Yeoju, South Korea, to perform at the International College Music Festival (ICSF). He closed out the year in style, performing at Philadelphia’s most popular after hours’ club, Zee Bar, during New Year’s Eve 2015. 
 
At the beginning of 2016, Artist/Vocalist Ro-Mina & Music Producer Christiano Jordano offered Terrence the opportunity to write a remix for their original EDM single, Insane.  His remix debuted in Insane’s release package on Beatport in February 2016, not only breaking two Top Ten Beatport Charts, but jumping to the top fifteen in Billboard Dance Charts and maintaining a spot for 6 weeks. Shortly afterward, Terrence was chosen to open for Dutch music producers W&W at Sound Garden Hall in April of 2016.Towards the Middle of 2018, Terrence Powers Released original music for his EP First Day of Noise with songs Make some Noise and First Day of Summer being released on Major platforms. A positive step in the right direction in regards to creating original music. 2020 Marked a new decade of dance music and new chapter as Terrence wrote remixes for
Alder XCVI’s song tired eyes and Unto Uno’s song Alertia with V Of Vossae.

Determined to be recognized as one of the top DJ’s/Producers in Electronic Dance Music, Terrence’s productions primarily include genres in House & Hardstyle. By experimenting and blending multiple styles in his music production, Terrence continues to grow and advance in the industry—ultimately, creating his own signature sound that leaves the audience coming back for more.
