"papri chaat is a reflection of interlaced identities within one's self, an attempt to convey how it sounds and feels to be stretched between experiences, cultures, realities. raised in a cloud of cultural assimilation and american nationalism in the midwest, they have lived a life of dipping in and out of identity -- too american to be desi, too desi to be american and a deep desire to simply belong. a life of split identity, caught between worlds, but collected to form something cohesive, in music and in life.

papri is a half-desi fluid freeq living in the pacific northwest on native land. they practice massage therapy, have a cute cat, and are in search of liberation for all <3

this mix, like others, is a prayer. a continuous search for harmony and chemistry between the songs, dedicated to our collective, continuous search for peace and clarity. may this mix serve as an emotive appetizer, giving us a taste of that which awaits us on the other side of total liberation for all"
