I was lucky enough to grow up on a farm in East Central Indiana and one of my best friends is still there on his family's farm.  This is a tribute to all of those who are the backbone of America.  I originally wrote these lyrics back in 2016 and revived them, edited them a little and came up with this version.  While not exactly a Christian genre, the importance of God and family is a key component.  “Country Boy’s Dream” is a heartfelt country anthem that celebrates faith, freedom, family, and the American way of life. From growing up in the heartland to honoring those who served, this song is a tribute to small-town values and the patriotic spirit that runs deep in the country soul. It’s about standing tall for what’s right, loving where you come from, and never forgetting the cost of liberty. If you believe in God, country, and living life the simple way — this song’s for you.

Lots of acoustic mixed in with fiddle, mandolin, harmonica and more.  This is an easy-flowing tune where the vocals will focus on praise.  The words,"Sing Hallelujah" just naturally fit into various areas of the song...see if you can hear where they belong...and if you were wondering...Hallelujah simply means, Praise God!
