A radio anchor was fatally shot by a man inside his southern Philippine station Sunday in a brazen attack that was witnessed by people watching the program live on Facebook.
Police said the gunman gained entry into the home-based radio station of provincial news broadcaster Juan Jumalon -- who went by the name "DJ Johnny Walker" -- by pretending to be a listener. He then shot him twice during a live morning broadcast in Calamba town in Misamis Occidental province, police said

Another first-timer: We'd been working on this for a while, but didn't have proper lyrics yet. At this gig in Freiburg we gave it an improvised try for the first time in public. I was sort of mumbling and improvising lyrics on the spot and the overall arrangement was pretty loose... but hey, we had fun! Jeff on vibraphone and Hammond, Stuart on drums, Raymond on bass. The recording was done on cassette tape through one mike, hence the lack of sound quality... I also should add that this is from 1973 - more than half a century ago!

Inspired about reading an article on Alaska oil rigs and story’s from the roughnecks who work on them.
It’s a harsh cold place and they spend months apart from families, wife’s & partners.
One particular story of an Englishman that stood out was that he wasn’t certain that his love would be still waiting ….

I've always found the transition between two worlds at sunset to be fascinating so this is my attempt to translate it into something vaguely musical :)

This is a blueprint for a song about people being away from the place they grew up and they once called home, keeping in touch with the people they miss, and making plans to go back and visit. 
It is about the feeling of being caught between where they’ve come from and where they are now. The music drifts between warm, familiar memories and the present moment, where life has pulled you somewhere new. It’s not heavy or dramatic, more like a gentle reminder of where you came from and the connections that never really fade.

This version is a new take on an older song, but with no lyrics, just the melody doing all the talking..
