You guys sound AMAZING! Especially live, with no do-over or overdubs. You all sound like virtuosos on your instruments and the organ, bass, solos were killer.   @terstall I LOVE what you start doing at 2:12 and also what you and the keyboard player started doing at 4:40….chatting with each other with your instruments.   What was the nae of your band? Odin? I would have paid what i paid to see Queen, Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, etc. to see you guys play live..

This song is written by Jim Barrett from Cork, Ireland, who sings and plays guitar, his brother Noel plays the bass. Roger Whittelsey from Boston produced it and added keyboards, drums and some vocals, and after that, I was lucky to have the opportunity the add some saxophone.

The Texas Tea Industrial Bluegrass Experience

A live recording from around 1983,when Alien were a very popular local band It's from an old cassette tape, so the sound is pretty bad but does improve as it goes along.
 Alien were: Vocals.  Derek Storey ... Guitar. Ronnie Anderson ... Bass. Terry (Tex) Flynn ... Drums. Kenny Mckie (me). Sadly, I am the only surviving member of the band.

As I've started doing lately, this is a short excerpt, focusing on just the closing section of a full piano tune I recorded around 2001. The approach kind of reminds of the ending of "Crime Of The Century" by Supertramp (obviously nowhere near as interesting). Apologies for the poor recording quality, and the piano sound wasn't the greatest back then. Still, this little 1-minute closing section is still one of my favourite things I've recorded.
