On this months episode we welcome SYXT & Glukkon records co-founder KETCH onto the series. 

Currently situated in Tuscany, Italy. 
Ketch has been catching the attention of many during the last year or so. With his prolific studio output being nothing but inspirational to say the least. His infectious style has gained support from many artists alike and It’s more then likely to hear at least one of his tracks in their recent sets or podcasts. 

Me being a lover of the minimalist approach to grooves and rhythms I can say his tracks really make you move. Continuously improving his craft and image whilst managing two successful labels says a lot about this artists drive and passion towards his journey. 

On tonight’s episode we explore Ketch’s story growing up and how he became the artist he is today. Plus a little insight into his current studio set up and how his recent SYXT label night went down at Suicide Circus, Berlin last weekend.

Aiken es un artista español nacido a mediados de los 80 influenciado por diferentes fuentes como el techno de Detroit, el sonido Berlin o música producida en Reino Unido por nombrar algunas de ellas. Como DJ, sus sets cubren una gran variedad de sonidos que van desde el techno mas purista al más deep pasando por electro o IDM.

En su trabajo en el estudio como en su faceta como DJ, Aiken está abierto a multiples estilos pero sus primeras producciones estan muy enfocadas al sonido Detroit. Su debut en vino en 2010 con el EP Lost Origins en Suspiria Digital, sello propiedad del 50% del duo techno español Exium.

 Después de eso, sus referencias en Science Label y en Semantica han sido charteadas y apoyadas por muchos artistas importantes de la escena techno actual.

Uncage, the label curated by Marco Faraone, proudly presents the six-track journey, “The Overtones EP”, a collaboration between Marco Faraone and Yoav Nizri, a rising talent marking his second release on UNCAGE. Known for pushing hypnotic and textural techno, this release showcases their combined ability to craft deep, atmospheric cuts with relentless energy and precision.

“The Overtones” blends rolling percussion, pulsating low-end, and layered melodies, creating a hypnotic and driving experience designed for late-night immersion. “Ralaoci” leans into intricate percussion and evolving synth textures, balancing tension and release with a sleek underground edge.

“Other Expression” carries a warm, groove-driven flow, weaving basslines and subtle melodic layers into a sophisticated club piece. On “Organized Cut”, the duo explores percussive and groove-heavy rhythms, adding crisp textures for refined dance floor energy.

“Torin” layers atmospheric elements and evolving synth work over rolling percussion, building hypnotic tension throughout. Closing the EP, “Enhances” delivers crisp percussion, airy pads, and understated melodic drive, perfect for immersive late-night moments.

Tuscany-born and Barcelona-based, Marco Faraone has carved out a reputation as one of techno’s most respected names, with performances at Fabric, Panorama Bar, and DC10 and releases across leading labels such as Drumcode, Rekids, and Defected. His imprint UNCAGE has become a hub for forward-thinking sounds, with releases from Radio Slave, Mark Broom, Donato Dozzy, and new-wave talents like Anfisa Letyago.

Yoav Nizri, a promising newcomer, made his debut with his Elmot EP on UNCAGE and now takes a bold step forward with this second release alongside Marco. With raw energy and an ear for hypnotic textures, he continues to shape his identity as one of techno’s rising forces.

With “The Overtones EP,” Marco Faraone & Yoav Nizri deliver a cohesive and hypnotic statement, marking another confident step in both artists’ journeys and a powerful addition to the Uncage catalogue.

The Amsterdam based JAIPA, resident of our good friends at Orphic, is the perfect artist to bring us to this state of mind. He provided us with an immense three-hour journey about which he had the following to say:

‘The idea behind this set is to take the listener through my ideal club night from beginning to end. For this, I pulled inspiration from my own experiences from the past that stayed with me to date.’
