Tome R is considered one of the rising electronic music talents hailing from Croatia. His journey through music first began at the age of 15 where he began to develop his signature sound he is so well-known for. Since then, he has established himself as a DJ, producer and label boss of Sit Down Recordings. His deep and groovy tunes have been picked up by the likes of Priku, Arapu, Raresh, Archie Hamilton, NTFO, Mihai Pol, Bryz, Cally, Silat Beksi, Lee Burridge, Andrey Pushkarev, and much more. He has released internationally on respected labels such as Get Physical Music, Cyclic Records, Lost My Dog, Phonichouse1 Records, to name a few. The perfect balance he creates with smooth harmonies and modern style has peaked the interest of heavy hitters such as Markus Homm, Mihai Popoviciu, Rhadow, Heerd and Lauhaus who have all remixed his work. His unique creations and refined curations position him as a new wave of talent standing out from the crowd. The Hangora project was born in 2013.
An astonishing duo of two brothers from Marseille, Hangora is a family adventure endowed with great musical and stylistic versatility.
Atypical and magical journey to the heart of the biotope, Hangora explores the range of possibilities with a multitude of instruments and sounds. The Amabile brothers draw their musical inspiration from cutting-edge repertoires ranging from classical and contemporary avant-garde music to trip-hop, jazz and traditional music.
Borrowing from jazz and traditional rhythms, their electronic compositions are skilfully studied and their instruments carefully chosen.
Their live performance, of great progressiveness, is recognized by the bewitching and shamanic rhythms that they distill to the organic and acoustic sound of their instrumental practice.
"The musical framework of the project is composed from the great rhythmic bases of minimal techno music. By proceeding with a rhythmic and melodic purification in our productions, we mix synthetic materials with acoustic elements. The objective being to to obtain an organic alloy that brings acoustics into dialogue with electronics"
