With their tongues thrust firmly into their cheeks and their music warming the hearts and loins of the audiences they captivate night after night, Denver's The Foot. expertly blends new and old influences into a sound that is immediately recognizable, with a novel edge that is certainly their own.

The lifelong musicians are old schoolmates, brought together at university from all corners of the country. They immediately took their shared love of 60s and 70s classic rock, early 90s alternative rock, modern pop and r&amp;b and began rehearsing earnestly in a basement that seemed to flood on a weekly basis. The results of these aquatic sessions were what would ultimately become their critically acclaimed debut release, 2010's Primary Colors.

Hailed as one of Denver's top rock acts, The Foot. entered the national scene at New York City's CMJ 2010. Urb Magazine declared them "one of the 15 acts you wish you saw at CMJ" alongside such acts as Das Racist and Two Door Cinema Club. 

While continuing to sweep the nation like a giant nation-broom, the fourtet worked tirelessly through 2011 on an EP thrillogy that concluded in early 2012.  Still riding the wake of this work, they whisked themselves from coast to coast where they played to hungry fans, a sold out Santa Barbara debut, and their 3rd CMJ Music Marathon. After almost a decade away from each other, lifetime friends Craig Hughes and Alan Ballantine became reunited through their passion for dance music.

Ballantine has co-promoted the iNViTE club night in Monaghan for over two years and quickly welcomed Hughes to join the iNViTE team as a resident DJ in 2008. Both long-standing enthusiastic DJs with a sound that is an infusion of all things trance the two decided to focus more on the production side of the scene.
With no previous knowledge or guidance the two learned everything from the basics to the more technical aspects over a period of 12 months leaning on some of the more experienced Irish producers for feedback.

With a number of releases on various labels including Discover Dark, Edge EDM Records, Unearthed Records, Defcon, Redbox Records & Dirt,Lies & Audio. The duo are currently busy working on remix work and new original tracks.
Also over the last 12 months they have gained support from some of the biggest names on the scene including Paul Oakenfold, John O'Callaghan, Indecent Noise, John Askew, Bjorn Akesson, Sly One & Jurrane, Gary Maguire, Neal Scarborough, Dave Pearce, Aly & Fila and many more.
