Julian Wassermann releases second single from upcoming debut album
With "Darkest Night", Julian Wassermann unveils the second single from his highly anticipated debut album. Following the dark and driving "Tunnel", released in April, the Munich-based producer now reveals a more emotional side. For this track, he teamed up with his friend and vocalist Jamal Dilmen, whose soulful performance adds a deep, haunting layer to the song. "Darkest Night" blends melancholic melodies with an intense atmosphere — offering another exciting glimpse into what’s to come.
The single will be released at the end of May on Fckng Serious.

We’re celebrating a Fckng decade! German techno label Fckng Serious is turning 10 this August - and to mark the occasion, we’re releasing a very special EP unlike anything the label has done before.
6 artists, 3 tracks, 1 compilation EP. We had some fun and let the dice decide: our “Compilation Dice Roll” created three unique pairings and three brand-new tracks that couldn’t be more Fckng Serious. Back in 2015, Boris Brejcha had a vision: to build a label where music is released exactly how the artist wants - no compromises. From day one, close friends Ann Clue, Deniz Bul, and duo Theydream were part of the label, shaping the Fckng Serious vibe with their music and crew spirit. Over time, the roster grew: Moritz joined in 2020, Frieder & Jakob in 2023, and in 2024, Julian Wassermann started releasing exclusively with the label. Fckng Serious has never been about one genre - it represents a broad range of electronic music.
Fun has always been the top priority. It’s not just about the sound - the crew energy is at the core. Over the last ten years, the label has grown into a major player with global releases, unique events, and its own merchandise line for fans around the world.
The label and its artists have evolved - and there’s still so much to come. Boris Brejcha and the whole Fckng Serious team have big plans for the future.

┋Lars Neubert presents Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr.66┋

Vor mittlerweile mehr als 14 Jahren entdeckte unser heutiger Podcastler “Lars Neubert” bereits seine große Liebe für die elektronische Musik und speziell für das klassische DJing. 
Zu dieser Zeit studierte er in der sächsischen Metropole Dresden, wo er auch seine ersten Auftritte gefeiert hatte. Seither ist er als DJ schon viel herum gekommen und durfte bereits in solch namhaften Clubs wie dem Sisyphos oder der Ritter Butzke hinter den Decks stehen.
 
Auf die ersten Bookings folgten nur wenig später auch die ersten eigenen Produktionen, welche 2006 erstmals offiziell released wurden, zu jener Zeit auf dem ehemaligen Dresdner Label “Audiomorph” (heute WBA Records), weitere Veröffentlichungen erfolgten auf so bekannten Labels wie Casual Lab, Auditive, Eclaire The Heart, Wonnemusik uvm.

Für unsere 66.Ausgabe hat sich der liebe Lars Neubert ganz besonders ins Zeug gelegt und passender Weise ein 66 minütiges Meisterwerk geschaffen, welches durch eine ganz besonders treibende und groovige Note besticht. Unsere Afterhour ist damit mindestens für den heutigen Sonntag definitiv gerettet ;)
