TESSA is a DJ and producer from Bergen op Zoom, known for her powerful mix of breakbeat, techno, and psy-trance. Her musical journey began under the influence of artists like Will Sparks, Space 92, Anfisa Letyago, and Charlotte de Witte, and evolved as she developed her own distinctive style, inspired by artists such as VEL, Alarico, LDS, David Löhlein, and Lacchesi. As TESSA, she has released several tracks through BLOK Records, Mystery Freedom Network, BSMNT, and the Zeeland-based label Tijdverdrijf. In December, she will debut on the renowned label The Acid Mind, with an exclusive premiere on Obscuur.

Before adopting her stage name TESSA, she released music as Tessa Maynard, collaborating with labels like LoveStyle Records, Inly Records, Future House Cloud, and Loudkult. Later, she established her own labels, Mystery Freedom Network and Mystery Freedom Records, where she shapes her musical vision and independently releases her work.

A milestone in her DJ career was performing at Club NYX, Amsterdam, where she closed the main room with a high-energy tech house set. She’s also frequently seen at events like her own concept 404 Not Found and at the Amsterdam Dance Event with Sonic Tonic Collective. TESSA captivates her audience with her refined track selection, taking them along on her musical journey.

With a unique sound, a passion for production, and a sharp intuition behind the decks, TESSA is emerging as a promising name in the electronic music scene. With each performance and release, she continues to surprise and inspire her listeners.
