Kolectiv come with their first individual release for Diffrent Music after their track "Slow" which featured on the 'Evolution Of The Giraffe' LP last year. This EP shows off the London based trio's versatility in sound, with two new solo pieces which are both worlds apart from one another and a pair of collaborations with Dexta & Mauoq which explore two slightly different area's of the Drum & Bass world. The 'Immortalis EP' is being released as a digital package and a very limited edition CD run with handmade packaging and two 'CD only' exclusive tracks.

Mako returns with his first solo EP on Metalheadz
The EP opens with The Narrator, classic Headz samples are evident and made all his own, a perfect intro to the EP carried through with big subs and slapping drums. Things continue on with The Gap Feat Fields, contorted mids and amen edits all feature, It’s a gnarly track designed for the dancefloor from the intro to the last beat.
Candle In The Cage is all about the heartfelt strings through the intro which give way to intricate percussive led drums, classic breaks dash in and out of the mix quickly, a confident track that keeps you engaged throughout its course
Warrior Pose wraps up the EP, classic Headz flavour with 2015 production qualities. Rave stabs run against apache edits. It’s a coherent and full EP from Mako, you can look forward to more from him on the label.
