CAPTAIN HOOK is the new project by Reshef Harari, from the center of Israel, who is already well-known as being half of the duo QUANTIZE as well as for his techno project SHEFF.

After the release of the debut Quantize album at late 2008 on Iboga Records he has been in high demand on dance floors across the globe – from Universo Paralello, XXXPerience, Tribe, Playground & Atmosphere in South America to Burning Man & Symbiosis in the US as well as some of the biggest festivals on the European scene, such as Sonica, Antaris and Hadra, where Quantize have pumped out their unique fusion of psychedelic progressive techno trance. As already mentioned, he has been releasing techno-tunes on his own for a while with the project Sheff, with tunes heavily supported by key players like Umek, Erphun, and Perfect Stranger, and now the time has come for a solo-exploration of the progressive side of psychedelic trance with the new project Captain Hook! Heavy basslines, crunchy grooves, and a sound very suited for nighttime are the ingredients, with a focus strictly for the dance floor, things are looking very interesting for the coming months as well as 2011. The opening to this compilation begins from Static Movement and Impact that take us to the Sunset of this adventure with a melodic sensation trip. Followed by the Night Shade by Inner Sphere that puts us in a different inverse of energy. If you have a bit Blow Of Steam in you, Cosmic Tone will lead us to the underground of our minds with his significant sound. Next you have the 5-Star striker Fuzzy Monkey by Morten Granau, it is remixed by Invisible Reality, that never disappoints and gives us the dark distorted force. Along came Arise from the veteran U-Recken vs. Migel S. that gives us his magical form of creativity, this track is one of the reasons you'll get lost in your consciousness wondering who you even are. Human Will is the only thing there is, and the duo of Inner State and Ilai gives us just that with a great hard bass tune, breaking all the boundaries of our soul and body. The Core is next by Tripical, this one is a real banger with sonic vibrations and a feel good groove. Right before the closing track we view the New World by Static Movement and Praying Mantis, this track is full of surprises and it describes our best day of awekening, this bomb turns into a special ray of light. One Function puts us in Relativity, after hearing this groundbreaking track, you'll start to realize that music has colors and different forms of loopy tribals that will conquer our hearts, our feet and will put us in a mood for a party for sure.

Sometimes mysterious, always complex and preferential driving Atacama carry off their listeners in spheres between bygone experiences and oncoming promises where myths and reality, rhythm and movement merge into a cosmic unity.

On Saturday afternoon on our way to Ozora our guide will be ROOK. Alongside his set we’re inviting you for a talk also.

Rook started his psytrance career in 2011 as DJ in clubs in his home area. Soon he started to perform at bigger events among well-known DJ names. He put himself forward in the Slovenian trance scene also because of receiving winning titles at DJ competitions.
He’s been performing at events all over Slovenia and also beside big DJ names like Avalon, Liquid Soul, E-Clip, Egorythmia, Zyce, Lyktum, J00f, Braincell to name a few. In 2012 he won the title of best DJ of uncommercial electronic music in competition Beatfest. His set was selected by reputable and competent jury.
Rook has become also recurring DJ of Ozorian Pumpui stage – this year he will be playing there for the fourth time.
Rook now collaborates at Slovenian psytrance organisation: Dreamcatcher.

It would be difficult to remember the exact details of how the team was born after so much time, but one thing is certain – the Rf-Crew is the 2.0 version of an exceptional, music-mad group of friends. Founding members and name-givers: Dj Szamy & Dj Ad-M.
The crew first started spreading their wings around 2003 in “the heart of the Great Alföld (Hungarian Plain)” and was hugely inspired by the welcome their smaller-larger outdoor and indoor attempts to fly got. This is exactly what they needed. Thanks to the initial success and motivation, the path, idea and attitude towards life that the team would have liked to follow started unfolding in front of them.

Their first bigger milestone was the Tiszaparty organized in 2006 where the visitors were no longer entertained solely by Rf-Crew DJs, but also by the whole Hungarian goa scene’s cream of the crop who made their appearance as well. A long line of Tisza-parties followed, held in each consecutive year (2006,2007,2008,2009,2010). The great news of the weekend-long mini festival spread quickly and even crossed borders. There were more than 1000 visitors at the 2008 party held on the Rákóczifalva beach. In the meantime the Rf-Crew joined forces with the other big Alföld-based group of party organizers, the Thermal Team, which resulted in a series of psychedelic parties held in the Mindszent castle-spa; the Tavaszi Zsongás and Red October and later the Summer Open Air and Psylvester as well. It wasn’t long before the Mindszent castle became the “citadel of Alföld goa”, featuring local and foreign artists such as: Para Halu, Kalumet, Aurafood, Venom Sense, Deto, Mindflow, Yarn, Snag the Sunshepherd, JIS, Big Bacterials, Parallel Dialog, Champa, Basic, The Freak Show.

The Rf-Crew continues to play a significant role in the local goa scene today keeping true to their original philosophy. The events hosted by them are hallmarked by high standards, diversity and popularity. You can find their DJs on the lineups of many psychedelic music events.

These childhood friends have decided to embark on a new musical voyage in 2012, after years of Dj-ing and working together on their other project ”Silver Sun”. It came as no surprise that shortly after their debut EP release for Synergetic records came to light in 2012, they managed to grab the attention of various labels like: Tesseract Studio, Iono Music, TechSafari, Digital OM, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Plusquam, Digital Nature etc. With their follower base steadily growing, the duo is focused on creating their distinctive signature by combining their extensive production skills and DJ experience into the creative process. Their debut album named ‘The Absolute’ which got released in late 2015 on TesseracTstudio Records, represented an important milestone and breakthrough for the duo. As they continue to perfect their work on psychedelic sound textures, the future seems bright, with many new releases, collaborations and remixes coming your way in the near future.
