Frank & Friedrich is an electronic producer and live-duo from Berlin. Coming from very different musical backgrounds as a DJ and a Jazz musician, we both met in the sweet spot to produce tracks with soul, warmth and groove. Though our computer is the brain that gathers all musical information, we create, record and produce all sounds ourselves with analogue synths and drummachines . We then take our whole studio to the stage and perform deep and energetic live-sets, embracing improvisation, interaction and the love for music.

"I started making music when I was 10. I played the guitar and began writing songs myself. The moment I first performed an own song in front of a live audience somehow got me hooked to that special feeling you get on stage. After a few years as the lead singer and guitar player in my band and several gigs all over Austria, I discovered the potential of House Music. Since I loved Blues, Jazz and Rock (and I still do!), I had a different approach to this kind of music. For that reason I began to produce, compose and write my own Tracks, always trying to add that special ingredient, called EMOTION. 
Now I consider Clubs, Stages and Studios my home. 
For me personally, music is all about emotion. Enjoy

Born and raised in Berlin, he's discovering electronic music since the mid 90's and is developing his sound behind the decks since the ealy 00's. His dedication for dark, drony, hypnotical techno is unmistakably hearable in each of his sets. He's "Entropie"-Resident and strongly associated with the Potsdam based "Einstürzende Altbauten"-Collective.
