Warm welcome to our new contributor/resident Pépé Del Noche with his monthly show: ‘Music For Boring Monday’. Pepe del Noche has been in the forefront of the electronic music scene since the early 90s. He is running since 2017 a monthly show on Rinse Fm called « l’Acid Rendez-Vous » and hosts party events with the same name. Since 2019 he has been the artistic director of Champs libres Festival, in Ardèche south of France.

A new Phase group Mix from Moscow made for us by Región Salvaje, a revived alias of Russian experimental sound enthusiast Dima Gerasimov aka Jan Fietser.  

Dima is the guy behind the excellent 'Muzak for Cycling' radio show on St Petersburg's Test FM. He has also released music on Towlie's Käften label under the Jan Fietser moniker. Following a recent move from St Pete to Moscow, Dima is focusing his energies these days on recording new music with his band Argonauts. 

This mix was recorded in March on the first day of Lockdowns in Russia, when Dima decided to spend his time digitising the tapes and vinyls from the most unpredictable purchases that he had made in the last few year. What results is an hour of charming and intriguing cassette-world oddities, DIY home recordings and lo-fi Groovebox experiments. Thanks Dima!

The first Phase Group Mix of 2021 comes to us from Frank D'Arpino, a local of Dusseldorf and resident of the Salon Des Amateurs known for his brilliant radio shows on Dublab.de. Frank has been playing music for people since the early 90s, with an open minded approach that finds harmony and evolution in mixing differing types and speeds of music together, advocating for "belief in unconventional music on the dancefloor". For us he's put together a mind-melting hour of low velocity, space age, tribal electronics and industrial level trip hop. Thanks Frank!
