In a fusion of science and sound, Kalocain's vinyl debut on Electric Shapes is coming out this week. On 'Genetic Memory' the artists unfolds an eerie tale and Warning's DJ Normal 4 delivers a colourful remix with melodic excursions and a melancholic acid vibe.

The full release will be available on Friday and comes with some more exciting remix works from Henry Greenleaf, Frankfurt Bass and more. Check it out!

The car accelerated quickly forward as it moved between gears. On either side he could see faces flashing by as the pace grew faster and faster. It was dark in the distance, soon the crowds would cease and he would be left with only the other racers for company.

He could hear the engine roaring beneath him, it was strained and mighty.

Smoke billowed from exhausts, then it all went dark as they hit the end of the tunnel and returned to the night.

Guava holds no punches with a new EP for Faux Poly, this one is a bass focussed affair with rising synths, frenetic energy and a sense of immeasurable tension. This will do damage in the clubs. Be warned.

Sketchy Lines is back with a big EP from mystical Argentine-American producer Miles Amillion. The Miami-based artist delivers five dancefloor cuts with a remix from Mexico City finest, Omaar. The tracks are aimed straight at the dance floors of the European festival season, delivering bouncy uptempo beats with groovy kicks and warm hypnotic twists. 

"Ojos cerrados", Spanish for "closed eyes" rolls in at the peak of a crowded and vibing (imaginary) dancefloor, slowly building into a sensual and hypnotic roller to carry the heat on.
