just 2 voices, one per layer, triggered by single middle c press - uses five kernels oscillators spread over the two layers, with 22 saw wave sub-kernels in total. 

All the sub-kernels are set with their end pitch, the komplex modulator offsets them all via various amounts but brings them back to that original pitch over time.

Everything goes via wide open digital filter, so will be same on iridium and quantum (recorded on quantum - only effect is inbuilt chorus - patch ref: thx6)

Raven

Latest Chillout track, forming part of an Album of Electronica, Soundtrack and Ambient inspired tracks.  Has a slight 80's feel and apart from the drums, it is all hardware, but sequenced and arranged in Logic.  Combination of Analogue and VA, but mainly processed through Guitar FX.

Redemption

Made this after watching a Pink Floyd Documentary and started with just the Electric Piano from a Korg Kronos.  Lots of analogue sounds and synths processed via Guitar Pedals.

Demento

Working on some new custom sound banks for the JD-XA - this one used 2 Analog parts and 2 Digital parts only. Getting back into creating some patches for this synth as i want to create more than a simple bank of 16 patches (so it is taking longer than expected).
This patch is simply titled "Requiem".
Tracked live into Logic with two effects sends (custom dub reverb chain and delay) with MFX used on all parts but no TFX or master FX in the signal path.

Roland JD - XA Chillout Demo

A demo of Roland's JD-XA -
This was to demonstrate the crossover aspects of the digital and analog engines. Int his instance I have an analog poly patch in unison mode with unison set to -1 octave.
A single digital oscillator using a PWM 2 waveform on digital part 1.
With dual detuned X-mod Wave6 oscillators on digital part 2.
Both digital parts are pre-filtered via the digital LP filters in 12db mode before being sent through the the analog engines filter.
The  OSC 1 Mod source is set to AUX and the two digital parts are cross modulating the analog engine.
Oscillator one on the analog engine is SAW and on OSC2 PWM with OSC 2's phase sync set to off.
TFX1 - Chrous
TFX2 - Tape Echo
No MFX on the analog part.
MFX are Equalizer & Chorus in tat order for digital parts 1 & 2.
Audio rate LFO mods and Cross Modulation tweaks perfomed live.
No other external effects used except for the glue compression on the master channel.
