Long has it been since the sounds of DNS Project first stretched beyond the borders of his home country Estonia. 

He keeps the fuel coming, with his new duo ‘Terra’ and ‘Confront’ giving sound to his grand debut on the A State of Trance label!
 
Keeping the Estonian EDM scene alive and kicking, flag-bearer of its talents, is the gifted Rene Pais. Whether under his Lens Flare, Whiteglow or DNS Project moniker, there’s only one way to go for the rising talent: up. Following the success of his highly supported ‘Another Day’ and ‘Shatter’, are the new toys to play with. 

And playful they are. Especially ‘Terra’, taking a bite of prog, trance and house in one, contagious go.

Those that love music, understand that it unites. To honor the love for music, Armin van Buuren brings his annual mix series, live recorded on party island Ibiza. ‘Universal Religion Chapter 7’ is a fact, and so or the numerous musical jewels selected for it. This sampler brings you three brand new UR7 exclusives, with tunes by Antony Waldhorn, Eximinds and an Aly & Fila remix.

Something must be in the waters of Moldova. Last years Universal Religion has an intro track of Andrew Rayel. This year, that honour goes to his Moldovian colleague Antony Waldhorn. A young talent, producing some of the most outstanding uplifting tunes since 2010. With the grotesque and overwhelming tune of ‘Theatrum’, he may have found his big breakthrough.

The Russian duo of Eximinds have ever had a sweet spot in Armin van Buuren’s music taste. There’s just something a bout their ways with melody… and that’s exactly why their new tune ‘Euphoria’ found its way to CD 1 of UR Chapter 7. A melodic trancers that simply lures you in.

Last but not least, this sampler brings the big boom of Aly & Fila. Their remix of Sergey Nevone & Simone O’Shines’ ‘Apprehension’ shows exactly why, after all those years, Aly & Fila still belong to the absolute top of the trance scene. Purely uplifting.

the double meaning behind "unversed" is intentional: I made this edit in ~3 hours of slicing, splicing, and nitpicking the vocal &amp; dub mixes, unversed in any formal method & without any a cappellas. 

the literal meaning is that this has been "un-versed"-- the instrumental for this track is incredibly poignant, and there's something about it that tears at my heartstrings... but the verse seems to detract from it, for me.

so in the end, I removed that verse, rearranged the breaks, mashed up the build, and left the beautiful synths to float through empty air outside of the break-- where Johanna's voice is *perfect* and soars in symphony with the music.

Allure, a longtime side project of Tiësto, saw the album “Kiss From The Past” make it to the top positions of the charts in a fairly short period of time. Another fantastic EP on Enormous Deep from swiss based NORA EN PURE who returns to her home base and delivers 3 stunning indie dance tracks. 
We're opening up the EP with the title track COME WITH ME. A classy and touching piano chord construction builds the basic, slowly filtering up and down during the whole arrangement. Some jazzy vocal phrases and adlibs support the melodic parts. 
LONELINESS takes the more classic indie dance direction, heading on to lift off with a hammering 80s beat pattern, sweeping atmospheres, deep house synth stabs and a funky bass line underneath. This hazy, light dappled nu disco track will become, for sure, a secret night weapon in any whether indie dance but also deep house DJ sets.
The last slot on the EP is home to the track called NORMA JEAN. A buttery blend of percussion, Melody and warm chords, creating a relaxed mood to swing your hips. The track extends just close the 6 minute mark, giving you time to get into the mood and lose yourself on the dancefloor, just exactly as you should.
