Balancing his jazz-influenced house explorations with a wealth of material aimed squarely at the floor, Italian DJ/producer Blackchild has been on a hot streak of late, with a series of impactful productions making serious global noise while also curating his growing label and event series NAIMA in unison. For almost two decades, Darius Syrossian has been a force within house music, marked by standout releases on globally renowned labels like Defected, Crosstown Rebels, Solid Grooves, and his own MOXY MUZIK, which has played host to names from Steve Lawler to SOSA. After selling out his MOXY MUSIK party at Off Sonar in just three days, building on the label's ongoing Manchester residency, the UK-based talent shows no signs of slowing as he heads into another busy summer with Ibiza appearances for Paradise at Amnesia, Defected at Ushuaïa, Solid Grooves at DC10 and more. Now, adding to his rich catalogue of records, including his ‘We Bring It’ EP with label head Jamie Jones, Syrossian impresses again with his return to Hot Creations with two must-hear tunes across ‘Work It With Me’.

The home of GFD proudly presents the 3rd episode of the series, that brings to light the collision of two musical universes, personified by the collaboration between Desolat's talented Argentinian Guti and Romanian artist Guy From Downstairs. The tracks featured came to life from nothing but iced cappuccinos, analog machines love and spontaneous jamming sessions that took place over a few summer days in Guti's magical studio from Bucharest.

Mysterious artist Viceversa is planning to release the seventh issue on his personal playground label which takes his name, part of a constantly growing personal serie. 

The EP will be out soon and again, the title is made by the combination of the two cryptic names of the tracks, which in this case are sixsixone and sixsixtwo.

Viceversa profile as a producer has grown from strength to strength in the recent years, with strong support by Raresh, Enzo Siragusa and more top-class artists. Catching an early interest in East End Dubs, his landing on EASTENDERZ with two releases (ENDZ017 and part of the VA of the ENDZ020 compilation) only accelerated a natural process which saw the producer to be in high demand, with his records often selling out really fast. From a DJ perspective, he already played important venues like Parker Lewis, confirming himself as an artist on the rise from the performance side as well.

The identity of the artist still remains obscure, and the mystery can only intrigue more given his unique dubby vibes. 

We are here premiering A side, sixsixone, circa-10 mins of spatial and celestial sounds.

As much a confectioner on the decks as he is in the studio, CHKLTE plays with a detailed delicateness that defies his towering stature. With vibrant, seductive blooms and deep, syrupy booms, his subtleties climb into the ear like tendrils. Influenced by his family’s involvement in music in Mexico City, a zealous 15-year-old Jonathan Lopez started sneaking into South Texas to DJ clubs after only a year of studying YouTube tutorials. Six years later, he arrived in Austin and joined forces with local movers and shakers Movement Collective, which opened doors for the rising star to play alongside both veterans and newcomers of the music community. Fast forward 4 years, now CHKLTE is one of the minds behind the Blacktone parties in Austin, Tx; a brand which focuses on the more minimal soundscapes of dance music. He also took the role of A&R for Unscene Records & Black/Tuesday Vinyl Series.

The move from Jonathan Lopez to “CHKLTE” spurned a series of monthly releases throughout 2016 and 2017 on labels Mind&Vision, Honne Music,  Tympanic, Unscene Records, Beatamin Recordings, & Denied Music. He has an upcoming release on Vatos Locos set for winter 2018, as well as a release on San Diego’s label VUEW ran by prominent legend, Halo Varga. He became a resident of Austin Tx in 2012 and became a regular guest at much respected local venues Plush, Kingdom, and Ethics. CHKLTE still revisits the trail he set in San Antonio, the Rio Grande Valley, and Mexico, and he also began to venture to Vancouver, Denver, New Orleans and New York — Fast  playing alongside world–renowned artists such as Raresh, Praslea, Randall M, Sakro, Just_Me, Nils Weimann, Christian AB, Maksim, Rhys Samson, Lamache, Robin Ordell, Oskar Offermann, Mihigh, Archie Hamilton, Priku, Andrey Pushkarev, Faster, Sepp, Vincentiulian, Varhat, Giammarco Orsini, John Dimas, Oshana, Chad Andrew & Hector just to name a few.

The EP kicks off with Like This featuring an acid bassline that powers the track throughout leading to an electrifying breakdown punctuated with a dark vocal, the track sets the tone for what sets out to be a very dirty tech house EP. Next up is the title track Pisah, which rolls with beautifully textured grooves accompanied by glitchy hi-hat hooks and a tribal percussion. Taking a deeper electronic sound with Twisted, the final track on the EP provides a heavy bassline, chilling vocal, and an endless groove, the perfect end to what is sure to be a beloved EP in the hearts of every raver.

Paris born Ron Costa has developed a sound that breathes the atmosphere of the capital. Having spent several years in the studio, he has paid his dues and firmly established himself as one of the finest French producers and DJs around. Since 2007, he has also been running his own successful imprint Potobolo Records, which is the embodiment of Ron's present day electronic music taste and sensibility.

Having released several tracks which received widespread support from both DJs and producers alike, his resounding success has enabled Ron to tour extensively, spreading his unique sound to dancefloors and festivals around the world. Over the course of this journey however, one thing has remained, Ron has never lost touch with what makes him the musician that he is.
