I asked Tony to write something about leaving the rat race and getting back to the country way of life , he came back with these wonderful words , so easy to work with , we hope you like it ! Next out is the 1st song by lyricist Andrea Brennan and myself on the 1st of May , a belter of a song , then on the 9th is a remix of an old one followed by another by me and Andrea . Due to technical problems Charlotte is having , the next release by Charlie and the Fox is slightly delayed , but it will be worth the wait ! Composition-- The Eclectic Collective

This song started with Josh coming up with a bassline and the arrangement. He started it as a project for the Eclectic Collective, so they were all immediately involved. Ken first laid down his rock solid groove of a drum beat to complete the rhythm section. Scotty was first after that, adding some melodic/rhythmic guitar magic to the mix. Stephen then blew the doors off of it when he added his melodic, dirty guitar to it. JJ was up next with his funky electric piano to fill it in. Chris then came in and added the trippy, swirling, psychedelic guitars. Mark also came along towards the end and added some really cool, but subtle percussion, and if you listen for it, a triangle in there, too.
  Of course every good song needs a good producer. Stephen was able to wrangle this into a good mix, thankfully. He also very cleverly came up with and added the psychedelic break in there between the first and second verses. Chris also added some really cool vocals to that part, too.
  This one was a lot of fun to make, and was our second song with Scotty, with whom we really enjoy making music. Josh named it such because he wanted the spirit of welcoming lots of musicians to come through. We hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we

Composition--The Eclectic Collective 

This song began with Josh coming up with the bass line and accompanying guitar chords that make up that part of the rhythm section. Ken was next to add his funky drums, thus completing the rhythm section. JJ also added to the rhythm, however, with his driving clavichord, soon after. He also added the trippy theremin you hear in the break part, too. Chris added some far out guitar parts that fill in the sound throughout. Mark then jumped in and added some of the synth you hear in the break part, too. Stephen came along to complete the sound with his cunning banjo, as well as fiery guitar in the break part. He also produced and mixed this superbly as always for us. 

This is another purely Eclectic Collective production, and almost of us were able to add our voices to this, except Tez and The Mysterious Decibel. 
We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
