« Founded almost four years ago, Le Motel’s Maloca Records has excelled in world-building as it tirelessly brings together some of the best and most innovative artists from different pockets of the club community around the world. This is showcased most notably through the compilation series which returns for its second volume on the 8th December as it combines both established and breakthrough artists.

Across 17 tracks, Maloca, Vol. 2 features both label family and exciting debuts with the likes of Farsight, Griffit Vigo, and DJ JM returning to the imprint. The rest of the compilation sees knockout contributions from the likes of Bambounou, Flore, Konduku, Tristan Arp, NVST, De Grandi, Neida, Cheb Runner, Malo2k, Leese, Ultima Esuna & Destrata, Mika Oki, M I M I and Space Drum Meditation. Whilst these artists may be from different cities across the pond, they all have something in common - they are leading the way for the next wave of club music. Whether that’s the riotous sounds of NVST, Griffit Vigo’s ever- evolving landscape of gqom, Tristan Arp’s signature insect-inspired soundscape, the emerging Brussels-based artists M I M I and Mika Oki or the trippy, introspective melodies of Konduku and Space Drum Meditation. Maloca, Vol. 2, captures a mind-melting moment in time.

The artwork is by Brussels-based painter Anastasia Bay who’s work presents a renewed vision of the human figure. Oscillating between abstraction and figuration, Anastasia Bay’s work is all about contrast and balance. The choice of a precise fragment of reality in her works dissolves any narration. »

Octoptic está de regreso para la tercera etapa de su evolución artística, donde Movimiento da vida a la quietud, infundiendo al mundo la vitalidad del movimiento, expresado en la cadencia de las olas que rompen en la orilla y el suave susurro de las texturas en la pradera.

DubGuy, a young DJ/producer known for his unit Uh-U! with Hizuo, has released his "Not Massive EP" on 85acid. DubGuy, who contributed a track to NirBorna's "Plexus EP Remixes"released on TREKKIE TRAX last December, is expected to make great strides in the music scene in the future.

"Not Massive," the EP's title track, is a club banger that belies its title. The chopped voice samples and effectively placed bass blend perfectly together to create an energetic crowd-pleaser that is sure to send the dance floor into a frenzy. The follow-up, "Run Club," also serves as a club tool, with a solid beat program and excellent sound quality.

DubGuy - Not Massive

Site-██, deep snow and high-altitude mountainous conditions. “Maul Rheo” repair/destruction cycle is internalised but maintaining a safe distance was necessary to avoid triggering its violent programming.

“Maul Rheo” appears to possess an amorphous body capable of self-repair and self-modification. Discovered in the ███████ Mountains. The entity exhibits a perpetual cycle of self-inflicted violence, leading to continuous destruction and reconstruction of its form. This cycle is believed to be a result of its original programming, its behavior suggests a programmed directive, compelling Maul Rheo to engage in intuitive violent behaviors. Future research should endeavor to trace a genealogy of violence.

Body is composed of an unknown metallic alloy, showing properties of both high durability and malleability. During its self-destructive episodes, body parts can be observed to tear, split, and then reform. The process is accompanied by the expulsion of a black oil onto the white snow. This substance quickly solidifies in the ice.

Encounter with Ziyiz:

An interaction between Ziyiz was recorded on ██/██/████. Ziyiz attempted communication with “Maul Rheo” using a series of synthesized electromagnetic propagations. This interaction led to a temporary cessation of “Maul Rheo’s” violent behavior, but it’s internal directives could not be dissuaded. Further research into the effects of acoustic frequencies and speculative technologies on programming is recommended.

With a similarly quick BPM register, FIREWALL BLOCK employs traces of dub and jungle along its varied storyboard. Coming up next is BLACKTAIL, a headbanger turned electro track suitable for a variety of people, places, and things. Bring up the caboose* is a remix from HEDO HYDR8. This time it's a fully pumped up techno remix of the aforementioned track.
