For the tenth edition of the show and debuting on ID:Radio, we have invited an artist that has become an icon in the industry because of the versatility that turns him into a musical library, being one of the most acclaimed artists around the world of this industry. 

@djMikeshannon is definitely a veteran of the rythm when speaking about electronic music, the Canadian has been delivering his exceptional quality for over two decades, not only through his sets but also in various of the most admirable record labels out there such as Plus 8, Force Inc, Scape, to name a few.  His productions have a wide range when talking about style, his repertoire has everything needed for making any crowd dance away the night. 

Starting at a young age @ Ontario, Mike made terms with his destiny very early and sealed his fate as one of the biggest artists of his country. Music for the open minded; those who are willing to understand the full spectrum of Shannon’s persistent creativity during his sets are always gifted by a memorable occasion; frequencies that oscillate all over from techno to jazz, giving an unique signature to his sound signature while composing right on the spot in every each one of his live sets. 

We hosted Mike in the Dominican Republic for an evening for the books, just like in any other performance we have been able to presence. The 90 minutes session is an exclusive mix specially recorded for ID’s following. The set is a composition that has his name stamped from beginning to end, with fragments of classic tunes and contemporary ones; merging distinct styles as usual, with a very energetic and euphoric sound throughout the mix.  Mr. Shannon once more devised a jubilant journey ride for all of us to hop on.

Mike Shannon was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, one of the most known cities of Canada where he based his musical career on his early years. His passion for music is native to him and he has been part of the culture since a teenager. Back in the day he was A&R and more of “Cynosure” formerly known as “Revolver Canada Recordings” parallel to Jeff Milligan for over a decade, presenting to the world the works of artists such as @Akufen, @Deadbeat, @ErnestoFerreyra among others, before the world knew about the heat they were about to bring.

Ontario’s most valuable resides in Berlin for years now, where he got to expand his professionalism to the point  we can appreciate today. He is part of the lineups of the best festivals of the world including @Mdrnty, @Mutek, @Sunwaves, @Unum to name a few. When speaking about his productions, @Shannon has been creating solid hits since the year 2000 on labels such as; @Cynosure, @Half Baked, @Meander, @Revolver Recordings to name a few; magnifying his value in the electronic music field production after production.
