Avalon 62 is, as an alias to the more commonly known Aerium, a more conceptual and experimental one. Trademarked by speedy, 140 bpm melodic, dream trance with a tech edge.

The debut album of this moniker “alphanumeric” was released in 2008 on the now defunct Futurestate records and focussed on the storytelling-element of a mixed set with each track being specifically designed for its numerical position in the album.

Paracosm is a continuation of this concept. Weaving a story or “world” together in a 10 track album that should be seen (or heard) as a whole, rather than merely a collection of individual tracks.

"I’m very pleased to see this release on the brand new TF Recordings. A forum (and now label) consisting of die-hard trance veterans and genuine connoisseurs of the genre. Set up to be a pro-active platform in releasing what we think is great trance music quote: “we desperately need more underground labels in Trance. Do we have less than a handful? It's not good, and rather than just complain for another decade we can attempt to try and be a small part of the solution”

As an active member of this community, I wholeheartedly agree. Only complaining about “the state of trance nowadays” isn’t going to make anything better or enjoyable for that matter. It's been an absolute pleasure working on not only the music in this album, but also being involved in the artwork, promo etc.

In celebration of Summer Melody's 6th anniversary, as well as reaching to main catalog release no. 200, what a better way to have the uprising melodic house talent Codema, returning to the label with the wonderful Down The Road!

Since our 4th year anniversary and release no. 100, Summer Melody has been through artistic changes in terms of cover arts, label expansion with our NuHouse sub-label and the Collectives imprint for compilation and special releases, as well as including more new and refreshing names to the music scene.

Ukraine-based Codema is one of the prime example, after his label debut Sundown, throught the Intertwines EP series, he released his Colorize debut Someday as a follow-up and has been gaining recognition. And in time of the label milestone, Codema returns with another melodic gem, with Down The Road. This atmospheric and melodic track delivers the night cruising vibe, as we are going Down The Road to the light of dawn and a brand new day.
