ORMUS @ Deep Trance September 2024

It's dark, the wind feels almost like ice on your face and above you the Moon is bright and full. It's a harrowing, yet beautiful night. The stars dancing on the night sky, clouds nowhere to be found and complete silence. 

The tower in front of you with a massive bell stands like a monument, a memory of a forgotten time. Surrounding you are hundreds of graves, each with their own name, date and message of forgotten love and in front of you is the one you seek. With flowers in one hand and a small torch in the other, you lay them down, trying to remember the person. 

All of a sudden a sound behind you interrupts your moment of peace. You turn around, but nothing's there. Again, the sound of gravel being moved around, of branches and leaves being pushed over. Your heart starts pounding and a feeling of unease starts creeping in. Suddenly the sound is around you, but you see nothing. Your feet feels heavy, you turn around and look down. The grave wasn't the grave you sought - instead of "Grandma" it says something else. Almost like... "idiot", but not quite. You move the torch closer in and the name finally reveals itself: Idiosyncrasy

By placing the flowers you've accidentally unlocked the forbidden hex - dead men, women and children all of a sudden starts raising from the graves to seek you out. Underneath you feel a pull. "The idiot!" you think to yourself, but it's too late. It has begun. You look up to read the sign: "raveyard" - music starts blasting from the empty tombs, the dead starts dancing and you can't help yourself. The night has only just begun and for the next couple of hours you're trapped in a dance - some might even say TRANCE.
