Sashwat is a US-based DJ, producer, and label owner that has been pushing high quality bass music since 2007. He's played alongside Avicii, D. Ramirez, The Widdler, Commodo, Swindle, Antiserum, Roommate, Coki, Distance, Truth, Reid Speed, HULK, Goldie, DJ Marky, 6Blocc, AK1200, Hellfire Machina, DJ Kue, Sub Swara, Kraddy, and more. Sashwat's monthly mixes, which he's been releasing since 2007, have featured countless genres such as dubstep, garage, hip hop, dub/reggae, jazz, deep/progressive/electro house, trance, techno, breaks, downtempo, drum and bass, and goa-psychedelic. In 2009, these mixes began airing consistently on the Digitally Imported Drum & Bass channel until the launch of his Dank 'N' Dirty Dubz radio show in January of 2010, which coincided with the launch of the Digitally Imported Dubstep channel.

A year later, in December of 2010, Sashwat expanded his Dank 'N' Dirty Dubz radio show into a bass music label, focusing on a wide variety of forward-thinking sub-genres. The labels releases have received support from the likes of Skream, Funtcase, Downlink, Matty G, NumberNin6, Brown & Gammon, J:Kenzo, DJ Wonder, DJ Allbury, Distance, Von D, Eptic, Genetix, Riskotheque, LOST, and Mat The Alien, to name a few.

In 2012, Sashwat took on the role of Channel Director for Digitally Imported Dubstep and launched the Digitally Imported Liquid Dubstep channel. He hand-picks the content that airs on both channels, catering to thousands of listeners 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Every so often, a band or artist comes along that changes the temperature in the room. They can't be defined by one of their songs or be put into any one genre. Their sound is universal yet unique, and the emotion they deliver is unparalleled.

Created and led by iconic singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Gnecco... this is OURS.

On stage, the band has toured with The Cult, The Wallflowers, Powderfinger, Filter, Peter Murphy, Ocean Colour Scene, Pete Yorn, ...

As for its leader, Jimmy Gnecco, after touring with everyone from Lana Del Rey to A-Ha, via Royston Langdon (Spacehog), Citizen Cope, Blue October, The Gutter Twins (Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan), ... he now holds the microphone in concert for the band Humanist, with whom he is touring Europe in 2024, whether as headliner in the UK (in October), or as opening act for Depeche Mode, or Jane's Addiction.

An alchemist of emotions, Jimmy Gnecco has put his heart and soul into the songs on this new album with his band OURS, “New Age Heroine” (released on September 20, 2024), to find a way of transcribing the complex range of feelings that define the humanity of each and every one of us, to offer the world something that transcends all that, in a surge of love, compassion, forgiveness, understanding... Or how to turn music and words into something more beautiful, something greater; like turning lead into gold.

Founded by Nate Dal Cais, Imbolg was named after a pagan holiday. Dal Cais became inspired by the meaning behind the holiday, Imbolg which brings hope of better times and encourages people to rejoice for what they have. Dal Cais teamed up with Julius "Malacoda" Heuman in 2004 and the pair along with original drummer Torbin the Beholder (who did a European tour with hardcore icons the Cro-Mags), began performing at such venues as CBGB's 1313 alchemy gothic lounge, and more recently performing in New England, Pennsylvania and NJ as well as continuing to perform in New York. Currently Jessie Mckevitt is playing drums, and Marco Kenny P is playing violin and keyboards.


 Imbolg's influences range from Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Type O Negative, Kiss, Return to Khafji, Kamelot, Sisters of Mercy, Malaise,Paradise Lost, Moonspell, Rush, Muse, Switchblade Symphony, Tool, and many others.

In keeping with a Pagan ambiance, Imbolg does a ritual at every show before they start to perform which entails burning of sage and incense which they were noted for by Goth author Mick Mercer in his latest book : "Music To Die For".
