Additionally, he was a semi-finalist in the 2017 International Songwriting Competition for "Take a Wild Guess" and received the 2018 Award for Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting from the Great American Songwriting Competition for "Bulletproof."

He was a SongDoor finalist in 2018 for "Different Story," a 2019 finalist in the Hollywood Songwriting Contest for "Different Story" (multiple categories), and the 2019 winner for Best Soul/R&B Song from The American Songwriter Awards for "Different Story."
