After our landmark SNB050, we return to our Free Download Series courtesy of Karma.  A former Shogun Audio signee, he made a name for himself with a series of explosive dancefloor tracks, including the heavily supported ‘Terminal’. He now marks his return from an extended hiatus with SNB051, showing off his sonic versatility with sublime A-side ‘Submerged’, contrasted by the face melting ‘Pulse Waves’.

Sitting firmly at the forefront of the recent renaissance in Italian drum & bass, we're excited to welcome Invadhertz to Skankandbass Records.  Originally from Rome, but now based in London, the trio have firmly established themselves as one of our favourite up-and-coming acts through accomplished outings on Flexout, Delta9 and Addictive Behaviour amongst others.   With ‘Everything I Need / If You’, they deliver two excellent tracks in keeping with their deep, dark and rolling sound.

"Mind Cemetery" is a heavy track with a deep vibe. Hard hitting snares and solid low-end driving the track nicely form start to finish. Slick Neuro-Roller for the DJ Sets. 

"Humanity" is upfront and straight to the point. Crunchy drums, panned Mid-Range and that massive sub collide. All topped of by a slick arrangement with interesting sampling and structure in the break-down. Useless D.I. comes through with another straight up Neuro banger and quickly makes himself a feature on the labels roster.

As drum & bass becomes an increasingly more global scene, we’re lucky to be in a position to shine a light on very deserving young talent from around the world.   Our latest release is no different, coming to us all the way from Australia, from Sydney based talent Keegan Panetta aka Brainwork.  His fresh but mature sound design caught our attention last year on his debut solo release on Differential, and is on full display on ‘SNB053: Vitality / Spheres’.

Teej features again on our second VA release. This tune does exactly what it says on the tin. Serving up a funky bassline over a boppy drum loop that keeps the energy high, all whilst the man masterfully keeps you moving with an infectious vocal sample to get you in the groove.

Teej - Funky Beats (Free Download)

A dark, minimalistic feeling reigns throughout this tune, showing how simplicity can be so effective. At the centre lies the b-line that you'll feel in your chest. With a recognisable sample from the film "Django", this ones gonna mash up the rave when we all go back.

We welcome Hystericz for his first tune over on The Juicebox. Having successfully made a name for himself alongside Boundless, the pair of them are making waves in the scene. This track, entitled "38" is a moody roller, with heavy bass and dark, descending bass' to make you feel scared. A huge first impression, we love this one, big up Hystericz.

A heavy blend of bass, horns, piano and drums. This one is a soundscape with a lighter introduction that crashes into a strange mix of unnerving pads and horns, with blasts of massive bass, this is a tasty tune.

So gassed for this one. Khramer is back with another scary roller. Utilising haunting atmos to bring the track to life, with a muddy b-line that is sure to hit your chest with power. Make sure you don't sleep on this one.
