Set at a reflective pace of 90 BPM, the foundation of the track is rooted in the characteristic beats of trip-hop – a laid-back, substantial rhythm paired with a deep, warm bass. Unlike conventional trip-hop that often relies on samples, this piece is driven by a rich tapestry of melodies, woven seamlessly by various instruments.

The sonic landscape is painted with a combination of acoustic and electronic textures. The beat, characterized by a fat, analogue feel, and a snare with a distinct 80s-style reverb, lays down a solid groove punctuated by electronic rolling sounds. This is Beats Working's 6th original studio album, a collection of songs past and present by John Hardman, and put together mainly by him. On this album John is Beats Working, with most instruments played and production by him. All songs were written by John with the exception of 'It Ain't Love' which was written by Derek Etherton.  As a band, Beats Working also have a compilation Singles album available including 3 original tracks not previously included on any other album. These songs have now been remastered in 2021 and added as a bonus onto the latest album 'Perspection'. There is also a live album 'Live At The Drome' amongst their album collection.
