Daniel Goddard, widely recognized by his stage name mistr danny, is a multi-talented rapper, songwriter, recording artist, and record producer hailing from Guyana. He has made a significant impact on the music scene in the DMV (Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area). His journey began with the release of his debut mixtape, 'dream.', on November 6, 2012, which marked the start of his musical career.

However, in an unexpected turn, on November 6, 2016, he announced his temporary departure from rap through the final song of his third mixtape, 'the fall…'.

He proudly carries the legacy of his grandfather, Eddie Hooper, affectionately known as Lord Inventor, and follows in the footsteps of his father, Jules Hooper, aka Fire Juice. The 31 year old Jamaican 'Rapjay' has strong imagery and smooth lyrics in his delivery that creates an immediate connection with his listener, through a combination of hip-hop, complemented with strong tones of dancehall, reggae, and R&B. The rapper has already put out a handful of mixtapes, which has helped him earn a reputation of making "the most 'Jamaican' rap music".
