Jason Smith (Jason Kwayke) was born in Orange County, California in 1986. A week after he was born, an earthquake erupted. As an infant, he slept like it was nothing. That's most likely the reason for Jason claiming the rap name of "Kwayke". His father (Jerry Smith) was the former Vice President of Veejay Records in Los Angeles in the 1960s and 1970s. His father has also been a member of the recording academy (N.A.R.A.S./Grammy Awards) since the 6th annual Grammys and was also a drummer for such artists as The Four Tops, The Fifth Dimension, and has worked for Sinatra Enterprises as well. That inspired Jason to persue music as a career. At the age of two, Jason owned a mickey mouse set of drums and was intrigued by the sound. That probably was one of the first signs in knowing he would be musically talented throughout his life. At the age of six, Jason saw the black and white keys of was what to be an electric piano. Not learning how to read music, he had an ear for music.From That moment on, Jason started composing songs of multiple genres of music. At the age of twenty, Jason started to use his music name "Kwayke". That's when Kwayke had learned that using the the right software and a keyboard, that he could create hip hop beats. Over the years many people complimented Kwayke on his speaking voice, which encouraged him to write lyrics for the beats he had composed. Today, Kwayke is working on numerous projects. Kwayke plans on persuing his music career for as long as the name "Kwayke" lasts.

## O.G. Cuicide: A Story of Resilience and Success

O.G. Cuicide’s journey into the music world began with his first recording session in 1987, alongside the late Mixmaster Spade. He continued to make his mark with appearances on tracks such as “United We Stand Divided We Fall” from Toddy Tee’s *Living on the Edge of Insanity: The Life Album*. However, the high-pressure lifestyle started to take its toll, and in December 1991, O.G. survived a suicide attempt. This near-tragic event marked a turning point in his life.

### Mentorship and Growth

In 1992, O.G. met Leon Haywood, CEO of Eve Jim Records and a renowned R&B singer and songwriter. Haywood signed O.G. to his label and became a mentor, teaching him about contracts, publishing, and copyrights. This mentorship was crucial for O.G.'s development in the music industry. In 1994, he released a maxi single with Eve Jim Records, featuring tracks like “Still Flowing” and “Final Exit,” followed by his self-titled album *Cuicide* in 1995, which gained significant international attention.

### International Exposure and Continued Success

O.G.'s contract with Eve Jim Records expired in 1996, and he began a new chapter in his career. He contributed to DJ Yella's *One Mo Nigga to Go* album and continued to work with various artists in Gardena, California. In 1999, he released the album *Wonder Why*, which featured collaborations with artists like King Tee, Big Syke, BG Knocc Out, and Gangsta Dresta. His success led to an offer from Priority Records, which he declined to stay loyal to Executive Entertainment.

### Major Milestones and Collaborations

The year 2000 marked a high point in O.G.'s career with significant exposure in Japan and features in notable magazines like *Wheels Magazine* and *Lowrider Magazine*. In 2003, he collaborated on the film *Diamonds from the Bantus*, led by Joe Jackson, father of the Jackson family. This project solidified O.G.'s position in the industry, leading to the creation of Cidal Gang Records and the release of mixtapes such as *Go Hard or Go Home, Volume One* and *Volume Two*.

### The OneWest Brand

Today, O.G. Cuicide is the executive producer and creator of the OneWest Movement and brand. The album single *Never Give Up* epitomizes his career and personal journey. His music, including tracks like “I’m the Reason” and “Compton OG,” showcases his resilience and determination. Collaborations with artists like RBX, Bad Azz, and Warren G have paved the way for other musicians, such as Swoop G and AD.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA by his mother with his twin sister, Sequan grew to be a man with God & family as his top priorities. He began singing at the age of 5 with guidance from his mother. He began writing his own music at the age of 16, he found inspiration from his musical icons Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, and Tank. He aspires to make soulful, heartfelt R&B music. He has the passion to write music that will reach people from all walks of life. He leaves his heart in his music, in his art giving people the chance to connect to him as an artist. Sequan wants to make people think, make them feel by painting a picture with his words, with the melody, a picture everyone can relate to! 
Sequan performed with music group O2M at the Celebrity Center Hollywood Talent concert in years 2011 and 2012  and has been performing at The Battle of The Valley
