Xavier Kareem Nathaniel is a multi-talented producer who dons the moniker of Xaye Foxx. The enigma is at the fulcrum of an evolving music scene. Xaye Foxx is a very different and uniquely wired musician who isn’t afraid to break the rules and push the boundaries of our perception with his deeply layered and well-crafted production. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he later moved to Co-Op City in the Bronx. his drive, focus, and tenacity will lead him to become a relentless and unstoppable force in the independent circuit. Xaye Foxx is making music that is driven by a desire to motivate, inspire, and tell his story his way
Xaye is an avid admirer of Anime and gaming. His talents in drawing garnered him a place a Satellite Art High School, The Bronx High School for Visual Arts. After taking a music production class with fellow artist and friend Lisco the duo would often record various projects with Lisco’s brother J Swift and friend Jam 1 under the name “Gtunez”. In High school, he met artists Realms and Wavy Wild Boy, and together they went on to release projects such as “R&R” and “Calm Before the Storm”. He later attended Dutchess County College in Poughkeepsie NY for Business and interned at Full Circle Studio, a recording studio in the area where he honed his skills for mixing and mastering. Xaye later began to work with producers Mike Denizard (Bugsy) and J09l and eventually began an internship at their studio “RSVP”.
For Xaye Music is the vehicle by which he expresses himself. He produces music that draws from his experiences and by using his musical acumen he articulates stories and shared perspectives that will connect with audiences across the spectrum. Xaye Foxx combines various unique and experimental sounds with his own innovative ideas and often dabbles in various genres resulting in fusions that are still firmly stitched together by emotive undertones. Xaye Foxx cites icons such as Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, and Russ, as the pivotal influences in his music. He also draws inspiration from his kids. This all culminates in Xaye Foxx producing an enjoyable, and easygoing musical experience that is authentic and grounded in reality. His overarching ambition is to empower people through his gift and to be remembered as an icon. He is driven by the desire to share emotion through music and to impact lives in a positive way
Xaye Foxx has multiple projects in his repertoire. His most notable works include an album entitled “Beware of the Wave” as well as “The Book of Dreams”. After being inspired by American Rapper Russ he has opted to begin releasing a single every week. He will be releasing his first single in the series titled “July 30th, 2021”, which will take listeners on a journey through various emotions and bring them to a place where they can escape the world and be lost in the music. His upcoming projects will highlight his passion and love for music as an art form. He explores various themes by delving deeper into the emotions that encompass the human psyche. The talented enigma is here to reshape and leave an indelible mark in the industry
