Jaylasell aka Sun Boi born in Cincinnati Ohio. Raised In Cincinnati but moved to California at age 16. The oldest 7 siblings. Music was always part of his family it was thing that made hard times easier as a child. Jaylasell began rapping at the age of 14, he and his brothers would write and record raps to jazz instrumentals from his FM radio. Jaylasell moved to multiple cities throughout California putting his mark down as a rapper in LA, Fresno, Modesto, Sacramento, Gilroy, Fairfield, Oakland, and San Jose. 
His Humble beginnings in music started with a group call The All stars consisting of his Brother G-1 and Friend Dawg Face. Together they recorded their studio debut but unreleased album in 2004.

The group the All Stars broke up in 2005, Jaylasell then found himself riding solo. He continued to perfect his craft by writing and jumping in any studio he could get in. By 2006 Jaylasell was introduced to Smokie Smoke a friend of his younger brother Cityz Star. Jaylasell was asked to do a verse for the song "On My Way". This song and new friendship turned into the super group Hyphy Mobb. From 2006 to 2011 Jaylasell as part of Hyphy Mobb preformed at over 30 different venues all throughout California including his high profile performance at CSU Long Beach in 2008. From 2007 to 2011 Jaylasell along with Smokie Smoke and The Hyphy Mobb Recorded 500 plus songs and put out 10 mixtapes, A Hit single and video "Let Ya Feet Work" and even recorded an album with Producer D*Magic, but once again his work was unreleased. However he released his Solo Debut and Classic mixtape "When Hell Freezeze Over" in 2008. 
Jaylasell's motto throughout his music career is to never stop pushing. 
In 2011 Jaylasell built his own studio, Started Carpet-Baby Records and changed the group name from Hyphy Mobb to HM which consists of M.O.E,V8,D Nugg,City Star,Night Train, & Kacino..
Now in total control of his music in 2011 he already has recorded over 100 songs, and is now a music video director An Mixing. There is a lot in store for the future, a new compilation is on its way to retail, a new solo mixtape is in the works, and a new album with his long time music comrade Smokie Smoke "White Tee's Drank N Tees". 
Jaylasell remains a man of his word and a lot to become.
