Michael Magnan is a DJ, artist, and guncle celebrating 21 years of dj’ing and planting seeds in NYC. Michael is 1/2 of production duo Fatherhood who have releases on Study Records, Batty Bass, Clubwerks, and a compilation project for Nervous Records. He has solo tracks featured on compilations released by TRAX, Sweat Equity and Get Up Recordings.

Michael is currently a resident dj at Nowadays in nyc and formerly 11:11, Holy Mountain, and Slurp with Linda Simpson and Telfar.

Michael is also a fierce designer doing club flyers & t-shirts for parties around nyc.

About the mix: El house fue una de mis primeras llaves a la búsqueda de mi propia identidad como una persona no binaria. La pista de baile fue donde pude encontrarme y liberarme, es un espacio demasiado sagrado para mí, donde puedes encontrarte con personas maravillosas unidas por lo mismo, la música. 
Nos abrimos, nos entendemos y la música es nuestro conductor hacia grandes epifanías que suceden en la pista de baile.
Este set es una evidencia de ésto y del viaje musical que me gusta crear, pasando por diferentes géneros musicales para generar momentos de introspección y euforia en las personas. 
Pueden encontrar clásicos, percusiones, house, bubbling, disco, afro y siempre con sonoridades latinas, que fueron los pilares musicales de mi infancia queer, habiendo sido nacide y criade en la Patagonia Chilena, en Punta Arenas.
