Fiat Lux is one of our experimental Black Metal albums that never actually got released.
Back in the pandemic days, we had way too much time on our hands — so we made music, wrote lyrics, and recorded a bunch of stuff we’re now slowly bringing to life.

This one’s really close to our hearts. A good friend of ours, Nero, got stuck in Switzerland during lockdown and couldn’t make it back to Italy — so he ended up jumping in, co-writing a few tracks, and doing all the Italian vocals.

Massive thanks to you, Nero. This album wouldn’t exist without you.

intro

So, this started because I was like "I bet I can make the opening buzzing noises into wave instruments," and decided to go ahead and make a straight cover of the whole song. 

-Most- of the instruments sound the same, except for the DPCM drums (which I just replaced with varying wave kicks) and the noise buzzes (which sound different on the Gameboy. I'm assuming Toby used Famitracker?)

This was a [Metta]ton of fun to make, and I'll probably do a few more of these.
