This is my submission for the 2025 Penguin Random House Narrator Mentorship. I chose this piece because I took home 3rd place in the Arabian Gulf for Serious Oral Interpretation on my Varsity Forensics team when I was in high school. 

I have read and recorded so many scripts for a wide variety of audiences in my career, but I always remember what it felt like to receive that medal in Abu Dhabi. I had never won anything before in my life, and all of my coaches were concerned with the selection. 

Despite the odds, I was allowed to read the piece and it did very well. It was the first of many of my voice work milestones in my life. My most memorable for sure.
