The chords kind of slam in a little loud -- the drum/bass energy is great.

Feels kind of caught in one place thru here - but fun piece, needs some re-balancing in the mix I think.

Interesting contrast between the somewhat ominous base layers and upbeat synthwavy leads. Good sounds, esp. the drum/bass/FX combination. Melodically there is room for improvement, imo.

The intro had me expecting a Doom soundtrack kind of grimy vibe but then the lead came in and the song was in a very different emotional space. Once my brain readjusted it all held together. Some great sounding parts. Nice job.

Yeah nice drums. Nice everything. Reminds me of infravolt/VCA-089's (another OSCer) style a bit.

A simple, yet highly effective tune. The main riff rocks!

I really like this song a lot.  Only thing is it's too loud.

"Ooriv the weird professor was close to despair and wanted to give up so many times... He just couldn't do it and yet another village lay in ruins. He had followed the notes exactly. But every time he tried to create a Phoenix, it turned into a fire-breathing monster that knew neither friend nor foe. This time it hit Harold's flock of sheep... Only a few animals survived the attack. Fortunately, the creature turned back to ash in a few minutes. Was the merchant in KreVaRon ripping him off when he sold him the old manuscript from Ragnarök? He made his way to his old mentor Norat. He looked at the notes, but couldn't find any serious errors. Of course, as always, he found fault here and there. He was never completely satisfied with Ooriv's work, but that was always incentive enough to continue. Ooriv took notes and went back to his laboratory to try again. This time it had to succeed..."
