Niks mixe depuis bientôt  10 ans. Il a joué sur de nombreuses scènes françaises et à quelques occasions européennes. Il a eu l’occasion de partager le plateau avec des artistes comme Sonic Species, Zen Mechanics, Jumpstreet, Megalopsy, Arjuna ou encore Hellquist. Ses sets purement psytrance ont la particularité d’être d’un groove incessant. Ses sélections sont le fruit d’un travail minutieux et lui permettent ainsi de transmettre sa passion au dancefloor.

Whether they like it or not, the biggest challenge any musician or producer has to face, regardless of musical type or style, is whether their work can create a path that other artists will follow, or lay the foundation for the work of other artists. ghettohousedrummachine, the Asturian known within the scene as ghettohousedrummachine, is well aware of this.

ghettohousedrummachine is a DJ and producer who has rapidly attained recognition other artists have taken a long time to gain. In his case, it’s not been a matter of chance or coincidence, but the result of his innate and incredible capacity to be prolific, alongside his obsession for perfection.

ghettohousedrummachine uses a variety of aliases to release the diverse artistic sensations which flow through him, these are all characteristics that define his personality and are an intrinsic part of ghettohousedrummachine himself. Producing and performing under different names allows him to concentrate fully on an idea or style to which he is totally faithful, putting aside for a moment sounds and influences that don’t belong in the particular character which he is mutating into at the time.

The result is a knockout. He finds himself, deservedly, among the elite of Hispanic and global techno. He has released huge techno productions that have charted and played by the best DJs in the world. 

ghettohousedrummachine has proven himself over and over again a true master of the darkest and hardest-hitting productions, slavishly followed by thousands around the world eager for a glimpse of this elusive master craftsman. For those lucky enough to be present, his is a performance that both inspires and devastates in equal measure, witnessed at Awakenings, Berghain, Tresor, Fuse, Printworks and Concrete to name a few, alongside extensive touring of the USA, South America & Australasia.

The idea to do a 9 to 5 job, even going to school gave ghettohousedrummachine nightmares already when he was a very young boy. His passion was always bigger than his discipline and his dreams were even bigger. He wanted to be really good in something and a little famous which would solve a lot of wishes like Independency, beeing loved by everybody, especially girls and money to have a good live.

Thats why his passion for science, philosophy, electronics, sports and music often lead into complete obsession  in one of these things.  At the age of 15 he wanted to win the tour de france and cycled 60 to 160 km every day after school but ended his racing career after the first race, which ended up being too violent in his opinion. Then he wanted to take Richie Samboras place and ended up playing guitar for 2 years - 5 hours every day - but it didn't do it for him either. Then he finally discovered his passion he would stick to for longer: Electronic music.

8Years is a french short-lived indie music project

From the start, Son Lux has operated as something akin to a sonic test kitchen. The Academy Award® and BAFTA-nominated band strives to question deeply held assumptions about how music is made and reconstruct it from a molecular level. What began as a solo project for founder Ryan Lott expanded in 2014, thanks to a kinship with Ian Chang and Rafiq Bhatia too strong to ignore. The trio strengthened their chemistry and honed their collective intuition while creating, releasing, and touring six recordings, including Brighter Wounds (2018) and triple album Tomorrows (2021). The result is a carefully cultivated musical language rooted in curiosity and balancing opposites that largely eschews genre and structural conventions. And yet, the band remains audibly indebted to iconoclastic artists in soul, hip-hop, and experimental improvisation who themselves carved new paths forward. 

Distilling these varied influences, Son Lux searches for equilibrium of raw emotional intimacy and meticulous electronic constructions. Son Lux scored A24’s Best Picture winner Everything Everywhere All at Once for which they were nominated for two Academy Awards and a BAFTA. The full score album features new collaborations with Mitski, David Byrne, Randy Newman, and Moses Sumney, among others.
