Cidoine, an Artist/Producer/Radio curator well-known on Montréal's funk, house and soul/acid jazz scenes. His diverse influences-both cultural and stylistic-allow him to deliver performances that resonate with crowds everywhere, blending dancefloor classics from the past with fresh, contemporary sounds.

Drawing from diverse cultural roots and musical influences, Cidoine creates immersive sonic journeys that resonate with audiences, moving seamlessly between analog warmth and digital finesse. Whether spinning at an intimate venue or a major festival, he brings a signature energy that leaves lasting impressions.
Cidoine's sound is deeply rooted in groove, drawing inspiration from classic Disco, deep and soulful House, Afrobeat, and global electronic rhythms. His sets transport audiences through different eras and continents.

Created in August 2012 by Marcus Freitas
(Dj Mks) and Wallace Roza (Dj Skambo), who are known as the « Tupi Collective ». They’re deejays who have started a music project that explores  the different rhythms of Brazilian music.
The duo are vinyl collectors that have invested their time in bringing to Montreal their collection of many Brazilian records, that explores all genres of their native grooves. From reggae to samba, to hip-hop to forró, plus an amalgamation of new and  old school Brazilian rhythms, the collective mixes a diaspora of styles in their sets which takes their fans on a tropical journey. Their avid listeners and fans are very enthusiatic about their projects and parties, displaying  an array of dialects that are a lot more than just bossa nova and samba rhythms.
The concept, goes beyond their monthly parties at Le Bleury Bar à Vinyle, which includes showcases such as the OIMC - Ottawa International Music Conference 2015, Mural Festival 2015, Pop Montreal Festival 2015, Jardins Gamelin, Village au Pied du Courrant, Uma Nota Festival Toronto, Montreal Jazz Fest 2015, Weekend du Monde Festival 2013, Nuit Blanche Festival 2014, gigs at La Sala Rosa, Divan Orange, Le Bobards, Waverly, and Casa del Popolo.
The Tupi Collective monthly parties welcomes deep collectors of Brazilian sounds, as well bands that bring Tropical rhythms to the stage. The music serves an up beat tempo to their clientelle, which examplifies the true essence of Brazilian culture . The collective has collaborated with well known artists as  Nomadic Massive, Greg Caz (NY), Mundo Livre S/A (BR), A Man Callae Warwick (TO), Dj Andy Williams (MTL), Dj Jonathan Kim (LA), Nego Moçambique (BR), Dj Don Mescal (MTL), Rommel Ribeiro (BR-MTL), Dj Lexis (MTL), Dj Kobal (MTL), Canicule Tropicale (MTL), Vovô Saramanda, Diogo Ramos, João Lenhari (BR) and many others.

Michael, Franco-Portugais, est passionné de House sous des influences brésiliennes et afros. Son objectif: dénicher des beats uniques!
En 2022, il fonde avec 4 amis un collectif tout aussi espiègle que leurs fondateurs: Poly’Son.

After studies in electroacoustics, Latin and classical percussion, Guillaume Coutu Dumont established himself as fixture of Montréal's leftfield microhouse and techno scene—with Artificiel’s Julien Roy as EGG and in Chic Miniature with Ernesto Ferreyra, in the early days. A move to Paris first then Berlin in 2007 hatched solo project Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts, a propulsive fusion of house, jazz, gospel, techno, and Afrobeat. 

More collaborations followed, such as ambient venture Museum and percussive five-piece Guillaume & The Side Effects. 

Back in Montréal a decade later, he formed Flabbergast with Vincent Lemieux and released an EP under the moniker Vieux Renard. He currently works on his latest project Auflassen, a trio of live drums, keyboards and electronics.

Pio Bandgi – DJ and passionate vinyl collector, shaped his musical identity early on, immersing himself in the disco, funk, and house records of his father, who was also a music enthusiast.

Immersed in electronic culture through festivals and raves across Europe, he acquired his first turntables in 2012 and joined the Poto Feu collective in 2014, playing alongside influential artists in France. Now based in Montreal, he organizes events showcasing the local scene.

From house to minimal/deep tech, including progressive, he offers immersive and eclectic sets, always on the lookout for new musical gems. 🔥

SOLN is following
